Vision of The Diamond

Calista had always understood things, even when she was very little. She saw a beggar and she understood his story, she saw a queen and instantly knew everything behind her jeweled gowns. Once, when she was little, she went to se the Swan's Lake Ballet (yes I wrote Swan's on purpose and I know it's Swan Lake) and while everyone else saw the sad and beautiful tale, Calista had a vision. She pictured a purely good, white bird, being held captive by two dark, evil ones. She felt the bird's passion, it's pain, it's sorrow and it's desire to break free. She didn't know it, but this was the beginning of wonderful things.

9. Belinda

"Hey, I'm Belinda and you must be the Calista, Bloss told me about." the girl said.

"Yes, I am. Nice to meet you."

The girls had just ran into the garden, when they saw a girl sitting on swing, that hung from an old tree, probably a willow. The girl had wavy blond hair, that reached just below her shoulders and blue-grey eyes that gave a rather mysterious look.

(I think she'd look a bit like Taylor Swift in the picture that I posted in my mumbles, you should check it out!)

The girls sat down on the grass and were silent for a few moments. It wasn't an awkward silence, it was only silent, nothing more, nothing less. Calista was thinking about the dream she had had earlier. The one about her father. She suddenly felt the sadness and hurt of it wash over her. She turned her head, so that her friends wouldn't see the tears that were threatening to flow.

Suddenly Belinda spoke"You can cry Calista. We won't judge you. There's nothing wrong with crying over your father. Just let it all out."

Calista looked up, surprised. "How. how did you do that?" she asked Belinda in shock.

"I can read minds."

"But, how?"

Belinda only replied with a mysterious smile.
