24. Chapter 24

*Tammy*

To make matters simple, I will just say this: LOKI IS A JERK!!!! HE LET ME THINK THAT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THAT LUNA WAS A FAKE!!!!!! I WILL RIP HIS EYELIDS OFF FOR THAT!!!!!!! AND SEW THEM ON BACKWARDS!!!!!!

First off, to start it all off, Anna, Symphony, and I were all restrained. I really hated that, and it was for HALF OF THE NIGHT!!!!!

I really couldn't do anything, much to my annoyance, so we all talked. I tried to get Jahal to loosen the bonds, but he ignored us and seemed to be getting some potion or another ready. I finally got bored enough that I fell asleep, then was rudely woken up IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT by Loki, who had decided it was a great idea to dump FREEZING COLD WATER ON ME!!!!!!

"WHAT THE H-LL?" I screamed as I saw his face, it was serious with only a hint of a smile on it.

"I had to wake you. And I would appreciate it if you would not wake the whole of the castle up with that infernal yelling," he said, all business  like. I looked around to see that Symphony was in a defensive stance, Anna was being untied by Peter, Clint was trying to calm down Symphony, and Alice was untying me.

"What is going on," I growled at my brother-in-law.

"A meeting. About Luna," he said. He paused between those statements, nearly half a minute.

I slapped him as soon as my hands were free. Alice snickered and muttered something along the lines of 'wish I was able to do that.'

Loki looked a bit annoyed, but otherwise, unaffected. "That was for the water I take it?" Loki asked me. I shook my head.

"That was for waking me up before eight in the morning," I said with a death glare, that Loki ignored. I was so NOT a morning person. Never have been, never will be, and I hated it when water was involved in waking me up, or wet willies. Ew.

I then kicked Loki in the nose, though I don't think I broke it, when Alice had freed my leg, left leg, which was sad because I'm a righty, not a lefty.

A little blood trickled to Loki's pale lips, which he wiped away with a handkerchief that appeared out of nowhere. "That was for the water," I said. I was so going to get him back, even more so than those slaps/kicks gave me. NO ONE EVER DUMPED WATER ON ME TO WAKE ME UP AND GOT AWAY WITH IT!!!

"Follow me," Loki demanded, walking out of the sick hall and to the garden. We were nearly to the end of the forest like garden, and in the distance I could just make out an unusual haziness against the dark trees. It looked as if it was a small cabin, or possibly a one room building. I was going to ask about this when Loki told us the reason for our meeting.

"That is not Luna," Loki said, getting straight to the point.

"No dip, Sherlock," Alice said, well nearly screeched.

"The problem," Loki continued, "is that we do not know if Luna had been possessed or if she has been replaced."

"Replaced," I said immediately, forcing the cabin out of my mind and sitting across from Loki, my back to the mystery place.

*Loki*

I wondered why Tammy thought Luna had been replaced and I asked.

"She slapped Anna. Even if Luna was possessed and was trying to tell us that, she would never slap someone, other than me," Tammy said. She did make sense, Luna was protective of everyone she met.

"Are you sure?" I asked Tammy.

"Positive, besides, she also threatened to send me to the dungeons, which is odd because she usually threatens me with our parents and, more often, with magic. Dungeons are a pretty bad threat for me," Tammy said with a shrug.

We talked about how we would expose the imposter when I saw him. A man came out of the cottage behind Tammy. He was tall and even in the dark I could tell who it was. Without thinking, I stood and started to follow the man with my eyes. I was the only one who could see through the magic concealment charm, and many thought I was loosing my grip on reality.

I walked away from the small circle to follow the invisible man. He walked to the castle and up to the sick hall, returning with Jahal. I wondered why Heimdall was sneaking around so I followed him back to the cottage, where I found something most troubling. And the answer to our problem.

*Luna*

Heimdall left in the middle of the night, probably invisible because I didn't see him when the door closed.

I waited, breathing shallowly, because breathing deeply hurt a lot. He came back with Jahal as promised about fifteen minutes later, but also with someone in tow that they didn't know about.

I saw Loki out of the window as Heimdall took off my bandages so that Jahal could heal me. It didn't take long and both focused only on the stab wounds, eyes never straying, thank The Lord.

Loki watched silently until the healing had stopped, then he made his presence made by walking in after my shirt was pulled back on.

"What happened?" Loki growled as the door opened.

"I should have known you would find out. Come in and sit, Luna owes an explanation," Heimdall said as Jahal gave me a glass of water, helping me up. That's when Tammy, Alice, Peter, Clint, Symphony, and Anna all burst in, saw me and all sighed in relief. I gave them a pained smile, when Tammy started to glare and repeated (unknowingly repeating) Loki's question, with anger spilling out in every syllable.
