9. Chapter 9

"Olivia, darling!" the owner smiles at me in his thick Colombian accent "Good to see you, when did you get out if Juvie?"

"A few months ago" I shrug.  I watch the owner, Marco, push Harry into one of the seats not even asking him what he wants done to his hair.

I hold back a laugh as I see Marco ranting at Harry in Spanish while spinning him around in every which location. You could see that he started to get nauseous. About ten minutes later Marco revealed his hair cut.

Marco smiles like a proud father at the haircut he cut gave. He cut most of the mop of hair off his head and left his hair to make that little swoosh on the the top of his head that most guys have as a hair style. Harry thanks him and goes to pay for the haircut but I grab him by the collar before he can pay and we walk out the door.  I can picture Marco chuckling and shaking his head at me as he looks out the window. Marco used to be in Juvie with me when I was 10 and he was 15 and then again when I was 12 and he was 17. You can say we bonded during our sentences.

"Hey! I had to pay for that!" He exclaims as I walk past him saying nothing. All I have is my signature smirk on my face. Harry jogs up next to me and walks quickly to keep up with my pace. "I wounder how you would survive if you lost the bet"

I stop in my tracks and look at him. " I never loose what I want"

In the morning I brush my teeth and I put my contacts in. I walk down the rickety stairs and head  over to the coffee pot to make some coffee. I dial up Charlotte, my best friend, to see what mischief we could get our selves into.

We meet at my house. "Liv!" she yells her long blonde hair was now cut shoulder length.

"Hey Char!" I give her a warm smile. Charlotte was the opposite of me. She never stole anything before, never beat someone up, she never smoked, drank, or taken drugs. Even with all of our differences we got along extremely well. But the one thing she did with me was pranking people.

At restaurants we switch the sugar with salt and salt with sugar. We switched the center of the Oreo for toothpaste.  Put clear glue in an empty hand sanitizer bottle and countless more pranks. Today we are going to add to that list.

The night before I swiped lots of Febreeze from the store as well has rubber bands. Charlotte and I drove around neighbor hoods looking for people who had their windows open that had no screens. It took us ten minutes to find the first house we took the rubber band tied it around the handle and threw it in the window and ran into our car. The next house we came across was a house under construction. We did the same thing only this time we knew someone was in the house. We hit a few more houses before we stumbles upon one I was quite familiar with. In the window I see Harry studying.

"You go around back and I will get the front of his room" she nods obeying me as she runs to the backyard. I attach the rubber band and I get ready to throw. I aim and I make it in his room the first try. I run behind my car watching his expression as I wait for Charlotte. He looks startled at first and then jumps looking behind him. Charlotte runs to the car shortly after that and we jump in the car not looking back.

"That was so much fun!" she exclaims as I give her a high-five.

"Now lets get out of here!" I exclaim seeing angry people march out of their houses holding empty Febreeze cans. She steps on the gas going 40 mph in a 25 mph zone. We talk and laugh all the way back to my house.

"Hey where's your parents?" Charlotte ask entering my house.

"On a business trip."

"A business trip?" she quirks an eyebrow.

"Lets just watch a movie" I sigh

"Okay! What movie were you thinking of?"

"We're the Millers" I grin running to the TV where my brother is conveniently watching TV. I go straight over to the DVD player and put in the movie when I get back to the couch my brother is already flirting with Charlotte. "Stop flirting will you" I demand shoving a pillow in his face to keep him from talking.

My brother shrugs as Charlotte takes a seat next to me. "What movie is this?" He whispers so we could hear what the actors were saying.

"We're the Millers" he nods knowing how much I love this movie. After the movie Charlotte calls her parents and ends up being able to spend the night. When she goes upstairs to get ready for bed I can talk to Adam. "Can you stop flirting with all of my friends!"

"I didn't flirt with Harry" he pointed out

"How do you know about Harry?" I ask confused

"I talked to him on your phone"

'Oh my gosh what did you say!"

"Nothing" he smirks walking away from me.

"Tell me!" I run and jump on his back before he could run away.

"I just said you were busy. Don't worry gosh. By the way you used to flirt with all of my friends and you made out with them."

I roll my eyes "Fine go make out with her or whatever just don't make any babies"

"Thanks sis" he winks at me before jogging up the stairs to my room.

"At least go in your room!" I shout after him.
