38. Forget About It

Harry's P.O.V.

We sat there in Starbucks, talking about everything. She looked so beautiful and I just wanted to kiss her right there, but it would be awkward in the middle of Starbucks. So, I held back.

"So, Harry, I know that this is a little off topic, but it's been bugging me too much. Do we have to go out to dinner tonight? I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but I just don't feel like I'm ready to go out in front of these large groups yet. Maybe next week? I feel really bad, but-" I cut her off. "It's fine, love. No need to be embarrassed or anything. I totally understand, and the boys will too." She smiled and we finished our coffees.

I'm glad she was honest with me. Usually, people don't have enough courage to talk about things like that because they don't want anyone getting hurt. no one is going to be hurt, though. So, she can keep her hopes up.

I feel like all the weight in the world was lifted off of me as he said he understood my insecurity about the plan. I'm so glad, but I hope the boys aren't upset. They seemed really happy about the second chance.

I guess my guilt was pretty noticeable because Harry held my hand as we left. He squeezed it and said "Don't worry, Kitten. Everything's cool. Just forget about it." Right. Forget about it.

I'm not so sure I can forget about it if the boys won't be happy. I mean, Niall needs his food and I don't want to be the one to hold him back from that...
