21. Boy Bands Are Cool

Harry's P.O.V.

1st Month: Boot Camp

2nd Month: Competition

3rd Month: Evaluation Time!

All of the guys who made it walk out onto the stage. Wow. There are a lot of guys here. "Okay, boys." Simon walked in and did not look very happy. "All of you have great talent, but sadly, not very many of you made it." This made me really nervous. I glanced over at some of my new friends. They also look really worried.

I met four guys who are really cool and they are also really funny. Their names are Niall, Louis, Liam, and Zayn. All five of us have been sticking together these past months on the X-Factor.

"Okay, the boys who made it can proceed backstage and go plan a new song to continue. As for the rest of you..." He trailed off. "The people who made it are: Mason, Jack, Ryan, Nolan, and the last person is... Richard." (random names)

My heart sank. I felt like I was the worst singer in the group. Not even any of my friends made it. This is awful. "If your name was not called, you may exit the stage. I am very sorry." Simon didn't look very sorry. But, I guess only a few guys could make it. Sadly, I wasn't one of them.

My friends and I walked off the stage in tears. We all hugged each other, and made sure to stay in touch. Just as we were all going to leave, the same guy who led me out to the stage at my audition walked over to us. "Hey, guys. Simon would like all five of you to head back on the stage for a second. He has something to tell you."

We all moped onto the stage. What could possibly be so important that we need to be here? What has Simon been up to?

"Hello, boys. You are going to be happy to hear me say this." Okay, at least its not sad news. "The judges and I decided to give you all second chances and bunch you five boys together to form a group." As soon as those words came out of his mouth, I jumped with joy. We all did. The five of us hugged each other and were screaming with joy! Even Simon joined in on the hug!

"Don't let me down, boys. I'm counting on you." He said before leaving us to celebrate. "Oh, and one more thing: I expect you to have a name." He smirked and exited the stage.
