39. Chapter 33

“I don’t want to move.”

“Me neither.” I mumbled into Louis’ chest as I snuggled closer. His arm was still tightly gripped my waist. Even at eh break of down he had a sweet scent, I could smell his cologne still lingering form yesterday amongst his presence, it had the right amount of vanilla and sweet smelling things to open nostrils. My face buried deep within his shirt, which I was using as a small pillow, I certainly didn’t mind the fact it had ridden up in the night, his bare stomach was quiet a view. I grinned to myself, felling like a love sick puppy as I squeezed my eyes even tighter closed, not ever wanting to move.
“I can’t believe we fell asleep here.” He chuckled causing vibrations to sound through his chest, sending a tingling sensation down my body. I felt like I had butterflies in my stomach, just fluttering around causing the smile to be even more prominent on my face.
“It’s comfy here.” I admitted as he began to stroke my hair away from my face.
“I can tell” He laughed as the same vibrations were sent through my body. “I don’t think you can bury yourself any deeper to my shirt. I turned my head to look at him and grinned, flashing my teeth, showing my approval.
“I might have to steal it sometime.”
“I don’t doubt you will.” He winked down at me with his familiar smirk spread across his lower face. “I need a shower.”
“There goes my pillow.” I moaned as he tried to fidget away.
“Natasha.” He stated as I refused to let him go.
“Fine.” I gave in and released him.
“I won’t be gone for ever, but when I come back, I’ll smell better.” He joked as he walked into the bathroom. I sat up from my previous position and tore the hair away from my face.
“You stink.” Harry commented as walked in front of me.
“Thanks.” I replied sarcastically, rolling my eyes at him.

“Did you have a good night sleep?” He winked as he slid onto the sofa opposite me.
“I did, actually.” I yawned.

“Still tired?”
“No, just got the yawns.”
“We’ve got a free day today.” He informed as he slipped on his shirt to cover up his care chest.
“Where are we?” I asked, stretching my limbs out, trying to wake up.
“Nottingham?” He asked rhetorically whilst searching his brain for an answer.
“Yeah, Nottingham.” He concluded, grinning as if he was proud of himself.
“Really?” I asked, wide eyed.
“I haven’t been here in ages.” I admitted, he looked at me with sincere eyes, hoping I would continue. “Fancy going to do some shopping?” I suggested instead of continuing.

“Sure.” He beamed.  “Meet back here in 10.” He instructed as he wandered the kitchen cupboards. I nodded in approval at him and sauntered of towards the bunk area. I pulled out some clothes from a small, compact wardrobe and changed immediately into this: polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=69908906
I was always wary of getting changed anywhere else but the bathroom, I didn’t want to scar the boys permanently. I pulled on my dark short and slipped a loose fitting short over my head. I completed the look with a pair of TOMS. I brushed my hair and smoothed out my face. Luckily Louis was done in the bathroom by the time I was ready so I could wash my face and brush my teeth.
“Going somewhere?” He questioned as he stood dripping wet with just a towel wrapped around his waist. I tried to stop my eyes wandering down his body but the temptation was right in front of me. I bit my lip to try and hide the awkwardness of my wandering eyes.
“Me and Harry are going shopping.” I stuttered out, trying to avert my gaze anyway else but his dripping wet body. I could see him smirking out of the corner of my eye.
“Oh, okay.” He replied as he shook his hair like a wet dog, spraying me completely.
“Louis!” I squealed as I walked past him into the bathroom.
“My pleasure!” He shouted to me.
“Ready?” Harry asked as I appeared in the kitchen.
“Yep.” I smiled.
“Where are you going?” Niall questioned as he chewed on his toast.
“Shopping.” Harry grinned.
“Oh, ew.” Niall grimaced, it didn’t strike me he wasn’t one for shopping.
“Bye guys.” I waved them off as me and Harry exited the bus. For once in England it was a sunny and unpredictably warm day. The subtle breeze felt pleasant against my barely tanned skin. I was like a walking vampire, I really should have been cast as an extra in Twilight.
“So where do you want to go?”
“Just around the shops, no shopping centres or anything.” I replied.
“Good, those places are always to hot.”
“Will you get recognized at all?”
“Who knows.” He smirked, I shook my head at him, he sure was crazy. “Starbucks?”
“Sounds good to me.”

“So what was the real reason you wanted to get me alone.” He winked across at me as we walked in step.
“How do you know I just didn’t want a shopping buddy? They always say a gay best friend is the best shopping buddy.” I winked straight back at him.

“Where would you be without me?” He gasped and his hand out in a very cap manner, living up to my previous statement. “But seriously?”
“Hmm…” I pondered, not know what to say.
“Are you going to finish what you were saying earlier?”
“What was I saying earlier?” I asked, looking around for Starbucks.
“About not being here in ages, you looked like you had something else to say.”
“Oh, yeah…that. Maybe.”

“Maybe? In other words I’ll have to worm it out of you.” He chuckled poking me in the ribs causing me to squirm.
“Ow.” I whined, swatting his hand away.
“I’m pretty sure there’s a Starbucks just along this road.”
“Hey, I know where we are!” I grinned, feeling rather happy as old memories flooded back to me.

“You do?”
Yeah! Starbucks is right along here.” I giddily replied as I pulled his arm down the street.

“What’s the rush?” He laughed.

“No rush, I just need some coffee.”

“Of course, because you’re not hyper enough.”
“I’m not hyper!” I gasped as we stepped inside.
“Hi, what can I get for you?” A friendly barista asked.
“Um…” I pondered. “Can I get a grande mocha light Frappuccino with no cream and extra shot of chocolate please?” I grinned.

“And you sir?” He directed towards Harry.

“I think I’ll have a strawberry and cream Frappuccino.”
“What size would you like?”
“Venti please.”
“Same here please.” I muttered as the barista wrote down his order on the side of his huge cup.
“Yep!” He grinned. “One me.” He added as he pushed away my hand.
“I can pay for mine.” I defended.

“And I’m not going to let you.” He replied, defeating me as he slipped his card into the chip and pin device.
“So what exactly is that?” Harry asked, his eyes scanning over my cup.

“It’s basically a cold mocha.” I nodded.

“Coffee and chocolate.” I concluded.
“So, you’ve been to Nottingham before?”
“Yeah, I actually grew up not far from here.”
“Did you come here shopping a lot?”

“No, I’ll show you what I came here for.” I grinned as I pulled his arm, lifting him out of his seat.

“Are we actually going to rest today or are you going to wear me out?” He puffed as we paced down the streets.
“W can rest when we get there.” I informed him as we weaved in out of people. It utterly astounded me he hadn’t been spotted yet, although it was during the school period, most people who would have been likely to have noticed him were at school.
“How fat is it?”

“It’s not far, I swear.” I smiled, recalling the amount of times I’ve walked from Starbucks to our destination. “Just round this corner.”

“It doesn’t exactly look very friendly round here.”

“Round here is the most friendly place I know.”
“You’re worrying me now with your crazy looking smiles and weird look in your eyes.”
“Thanks.” I replied sardonically. “You’ll understand when I show you.”
“If you say so.” He mumbled behind me.

“Okay, what do you think?” I asked as I spread my arms out in front of me as he stood facing a building across the street.
“What…” He stood gormlessly staring at the mysterious building in front of him.
“You like it?” I asked I crossed the road with him following slowly behind.

“I have no idea what it is.” He stated.

“Come here.” I instructed as he followed me up the large steps at the front of the doors.
“What is all of this?”
“Read them.” I smiled.
“Is this-”
“Yep, it’s a concert venue.”
“Where bands play?”
“Indeed.” I beamed.
“I guess you’ve been here then?”
“Many, many times.”

“I see.”

“I’ve made so many friends here, although I haven’t really spoken to any of them in a while but I’ve met some of the people who made my life worth living when I was mere 16 to 17 year old.”

“You met bands.”

“Yep, this is one of the best venues to meet them.”
“How so?”
“It’s small compared to the other venues bands tour, so there’ less people and there’s plenty of room out back for them to come and sign.”

“That’s pretty cool.” He chuckled as we sat on the top step.
“Can I ask you something?”  I questioned, turning to look at him.

“Sure.” He smiled genuinely.

“It’s about Louis.”

“I think I know what you’re going to ask.” He sighed, ruffing his hair with his free hand after he placed his drink down on the step next to him.
“You do?”

“Are you wondering why he hasn’t made a move yet?” He questioned, staring into my eyes. I bit my lip at him and nodded. “I think it’s because he’s just come out of a rocky relationship-”
“He doesn’t think I’m like Kendall does he?” I asked causing him to let out a small laugh.
“Of course not. But maybe this time he want to make sure he’s completely ready and knows what he’s doing.”
“You mean he has feeling for me?”

“Hell, you’d be blind to miss them.”

“Really.” He chuckled, poking my nose. “He probably just needs time, it’s only been a dew days since Kendall.”
“Yeah right.” I laughed as I stood up.
“Where are you going?”

“Come one, we have sopping to do.” I beamed
