21. Chapter 17

Louis POV

I slammed the front door shut and threw my blazer onto the back of the sofa, whist I pounced on top of Harry. I was sat in his lap like a little girl, he muttered some curse words under his breath, he had probably been sleeping considering the time. I ran my fingers through my hair, tempted to rip out every stand there and then.

“Are you trying to go bald?” Harry chuckled whilst he pulled my hand away from my hair.

“Right now I couldn’t care.”

“Aww did someone have a bad date?” He asked in a baby tone.

“It wasn’t a date.” I sighed.

“But you wanted it to be?”

“It couldn’t be because-“

“Because of Kendall?”

“Yeah.” I sighed once again.

“Dump her.”

“It’s not that simple.” I groaned.

“You’re the one making this complicated.”

“Why did Natasha have to come back in my life with her perfect light brown eyes, her sarcastic attitude, her infectious laugh, her angel like voice?” I rambled on.

“Someone’s caught the love bug.” He joked.

“Harry” I whined.

“I don’t know what to suggest. Only you know what your heart wants.” He replied sounding intellectual  and sensitive for once. “So did she look hot tonight?” He grinned. I have him a disapproving look and slapped his head playfully. “What?” He gasped.

“You know what.” I grinned.

“I have to be interested in the girl I’m dating” He wiggled his eyebrows.

“Fake dating.” I corrected.

“Aww, is someone jealous?” He mocked pulling my cheeks out like a small child. I swatted his hands away not feeling in the jokey mood.

“Harry?”

“Hmm?”

“You don’t actually like her do you?” I asked in all seriousness staring into his eyes, in a not so romantic way, I just needed to know if he was going to tell the truth.

“Bro code.” He grinned. “She’s hot, but she’s all yours” He smiled.

“Thanks, I guess.”

“And she ain’t bad on the old eyes.” He winked. “But I suggest you move in fast before someone else does!” He shouted as he chuckled me off his lap and walked out the room. Which left me thinking, what if someone else does come along? She wouldn’t even give me a second look. I felt like I was finally admitting my feeling towards her to myself, I was indeed falling for Natasha and I was already in too deep to stop myself, there’s just something about her. She’s different, unique, than anyone else I’d ever met. She makes me want her even more. What is she starts to fall for Harry though? They’re pretending to fake date, what happens if it becomes more? Sure there’s the bro code but once you fall in so deep, there isn’t a chance of getting out. I just have one problem of making Natasha mine; Kendall. I could just chuck her, it would be fair on her and her parent are friends with my parents, which adds pressure onto me to keep their `little princess´ happy.

“Don’t forget we have that meeting tomorrow morning with Zack!” Harry shouted at me, peeking around his bedroom door. I nodded in response, being more considerate of the other sleeping just a few meters behind separate doors. I waved him goodnight and retreated to my room, I probably wouldn’t get a lot of sleep, too much thinking and over thinking to do.

Natasha’s POV

“I made you breakfast in bed”

“Go away.” I mumbled into my pillow.

“There’s Nutella on it”

“I’m not hungry” I lied, my stomach was practically begging for food.

“That’s a lie.” Jenna stated. “You’re always hungry.” Which was completely true. I reluctantly rolled over and saw her standing at the door with a  plate of toast and glass or orange juice in her hands.

“Why?” I asked as she handed them to me.

“Why what?”

“What’ with all the kindness?”

“I saw you come in last night, well more a less heard you. Sounded like rough night, thought you might need cheering up before you go out.”

“Go out, out where?” I asked slowly eating my way through the toast.

“You have another meeting with Zack today.” She replied emotionless.

“What, when?” I asked practically choking on my food.

“In about an hour” She smiled.

“An hour?! You could have woken me up!” I shouted, throwing the covers off and running into the bathroom. I switched the shower on and gulped down the orange juice which was still in my hand. I set the glass down and stretched the skin under my eyes out where my mascara had stained my face. You can probably guess what I did last night as soon as I shut the front door in Louis face. I threw off my pajamas. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=69144513 and stepped into the shower, the water hadn’t been heated up yet so I squealed every so often when I got a sudden burst of cold water. I somewhat managed to wash my hair in roughly two minutes, I was more than happy to leave the shower for once. Standing outside the shower in just a towel was a lot warmer than standing under and ice cold rainfall. I stuck funny faces in the mirror every time a tangle presented itself. Every morning I often pondered cutting all my hair off, but I like my ears being warm. After finishing up in the bathroom I scrambled through the clothes in my wardrobe and on the floor and managed to find an outfit.

I flew out of my room, I only had twenty minutes to get there, challenge accepted.

“You ready?” Jenna asked appearing in front of me.

“You’re coming?” I questioned as I slipped on my green Sperry boat shoes.

“Yeah, why?”

“No reason.” I mumbled.

“Right, shall we go?” She asked  ignoring my previous reply.

“Sure.” I hesitantly smiled. “I’ll drive.” I offered as we reached the car.

“Uh, no I’ll drive.” Shea argued.

“Uh hum, I think I’ll drive.” I flashed her a fake smile whilst trying to reach the driver’s door.

“I want to live you know”

“My driving isn’t that bad!” I gasped still reaching for the handle.

“You drive like you’re in a formula one race!”

“I do not!”

“Do to!”

“Not!”

“Just get in” She sighed, I muttered unpleasant words under my breath as I stropped round to the other side and slipped in.

“Since you get to drive I get to control the radio” I grinned picking out a CD.

“I’m in control of the car.” She huffed.

“Exactly, now keep your eyes on the road.” I smirked.

“Put something deafening on and I’ll put my JLS CD on”

“Yeah, that isn’t going to happen.” I replied sarcastically.

“What is this?”

“A Rocket To The Moon.” I answered, skipping to my favorite song.

“They’re not bad”

“They’re great” I grinned leaning back into the seat.

“We’re in the car ten minutes and you fall asleep!” Jenna shouted at me whilst violently shaking my shoulder.

“5 more minutes.” I mumbled pushing her away.

“Get up!” She screamed.

“Alright, I’m up.” I glared at her, there was no need to scream in my ear.

“You’re so lazy.” She muttered.

“I heard that.” I growled, joining her as we walked inside.

“We’re going to be late.”

“No we’re not.” Is smiled.

“What?”

“We’re not `going to be´, we are late.” I concluded.

“Well whose fault is that?” She snarled.

“Can we just go five minutes without you wanting to have my head on a spice marched through the town centre?” I questioned raising my eyebrows at her.

“Whatever.” She rolled her eyes at me and pulled me by the arm inside the building.

“I’m capable of walking myself.” I growled pulling out her grasp.

“You’re like a five year old.”

“Stop treating me like one!” I answered raising my voice slightly.

“Stop acting like one!” She shouted back.

“That’s rich coming from you.” I snarled.

“You did not just go there.” She huffed, standing her ground.

“Oh, but I just did.” I smirked at her.

“Oh, that’s it!” She shouted as she charged towards me.

“Morning girl!” Zack announced startling the both of us. We both stood completely frozen in our fighting stances, looking rather awkward.

“Uh, morning.” I awkwardly replied straightening out my clothes.

“I see you’re both lively this morning” He chuckled.

“Yeah…” I mumbled.

“Well anyways shall we get this meeting started?”

“Sure.” I smiled slightly as we followed him into his office, I wasn’t expecting to be sitting here against o soon, or at all for that fact. I took a seat he offered in front of his desk as he sat behind it. Jenna stood behind me, leant up against the wall, not looking the slightest bit interested. Today was one of her bad days.

“So how have you been since I last saw you?” He asked politely.

“Good, thank you.” I answered fidgeting in my seat, everything felt awkward.

“Good, so anyway I supposed you already know why I asked for another meeting?” He questioned raising his eyebrows up at me.

“Um, no, not exactly.” I answered honestly.

“Surely your friend here told you why.” He replied, looking confused at Jenna.

“She’s been busy at work, we haven’t see each other at all.” I covered for her although she still didn’t look thankful.

“Oh, well anyway after our previous meeting I’ve done some consideration.”

“About what?” I interrupted.

“About what to do with you.” He stated.

“Oh.”

“So any opportunity has risen, how would you like.” He was cut short by a knock on the door. I could hear talking behind the door, I recognized voice straight away. “Come in!” Zack yelled. “Morning boys.” He added as they all filed in. I avoided looking at Louis; I wasn’t ready too look him in the eyes quite yet.

“Morning.” They beamed.

“You’re just in time, I was about to tell her about the good news.” Zack grinned. Wow, everyone was in on something about me, except me. I turned back towards Zack, eager for him to carry on. “As I was saying a new opportunity has opened, how would you liked to go on tour with them?” He asked excitedly.

“One Direction?” I checked.

“Yeah.” He beamed.

“No.” I stated.

“WHAT?!” Was chorused behind me at a ridiculously loud pitch, threatening to burst my ear drums.

“I said no.” I repeated.

“I’m sorry, I thought I just heard you say no…” Zack announced looking totally gob smacked whilst he leant over the desk just to make sure he wasn’t hearing things.

“You heard correct.” I informed him.

“Wow, wasn’t expecting that.” He replied leaning back, he didn’t look to pleased.

“Was there anything else?” I asked tapping my fingers on the chair.

“Uh…no, you can go I guess.”

“Thank you.” I replied politely before standing up, I was eager to get out of the room but I was met by a brick wall made of human. “Excuse me.” I said whilst trying to push them away.

“You’re not getting through until you say yes.” Niall informed me.

“Well then I guess I’m stuck here.” I replied sarcastically, rolling my eyes at him.

“You didn’t even think about it.” Liam added.

“I didn’t have to.” I stated.

“Okay, one second, we’ll be right back.” Harry warned the other as he grabbed my arm, what is it with people grabbing my arm? I don’t need to be on leash.

“Where are we going?” I questioned, my feet remained glued to the floor.

“I’m about to go knock some sense into you.”

“Oh really? Good luck with that.” I replied sarcastically crossing my arms over my chest. He simply rolled his eyes at me and dragged me, literally, out of the room. “You can let go of me now.” I muttered shaking out of his grasp. I reluctantly followed him over to an empty sofa where he sat down, I joined him, not really in the mood for a `talk´.

“Are you dumb?” He asked straight out.

“Wow, you just jumped straight in there didn’t you?” I muttered leaning back against the sofa .

“Seriously?”

“I’m not dumb.” I answered.

“Could have fooled me.” He muttered.

“I heard that.”

“Good, because you’re about to throw away a once in a life time opportunity for no reason!”

“How do you know there isn’t a reason?”

“Enlighten me on the reason then.” He smirked, I remained silent, there was a reason but not one I was ready to share. “Thought so.”

“Maybe I just don’t want to?” I asked rhetorically.

“Oh, c’mon, who wouldn’t want to spend six weeks with all of this?” He winked as he glanced down at his own body.

“Oh I don’t know, me?”

“You love it.”

“Keep dreaming curly.”

“Oh, so I have a nickname now? We’ve moved up to that level.” He winked again.

“Shut up.” I chuckled whilst playfully hitting his stomach.

“Woah woah woah, watch the babies.” He gasped pulling up his shirt revealing his very tones body.

“Put your shirt down.” I replied turning away from him.

“Is it making you all hot and bothered to see my amazing body?” He drained on.

“Harry.” I whined turning even further away from him.

“Fine, you love me”

“You keep telling yourself that.” I sarcastically spoke.

“I don’t have to, when you cheeks are as red as that it practically speaks for itself.” He laughed poking my cheeks which were in fast rather warm. I swatted his hand away, not amused by his actions. “Aww, my fake girlfriend in annoyed with me.”

“You’re still going along with that?” I asked turning to face him.

“Just a bit of fun.” He smiled nudging me with his elbow. “Anyway, enough about me, more about you and how stupid you’re being.”

“Thanks, you really make me feel special.” I replied sarcastically.

“Aww babe.” He mocked as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

“Harry?” I question, with my eyebrows raised at him.

“Yes m’love?”

“What are you doing?”

“Making you feel special.” He grinned, I rolled my eyes at his cliché moves.

“You’re crazy.” I chuckled.

“You’re crazy…” He repeated. “For Louis.”

“Harry, shut up.” I growled, I didn’t want anyone to hear.

“NATASHA LOVES LO-” He shouted but was cut off when I hit him around the head. “Ow!” He moaned.

“Keep you big mouth shut then.” I huffed.

“Oh c’mon, live a little.”

“That was nit living, that was totally embarrassing me.”

“Is that why you won’t go on tour with us?” He asked, his tone changing to a serious one.

“What?” I stumbled out.

“Is Louis the reason you won’t go on tour with us?” He questioned, staring into my eyes. I bit my lip, trying to think of an answer.

“No.” I mumbled not very convincingly.

“Natasha?” He asked softly, raising my head to look at him. “You can’t let him stop you living your dreams.”

“I’m not.” I sighed.

“Then what are you doing?”

“I don’t know.” I shakily answered, resting my head in my hands.”

“Tash, you can tell me, I won’t say a word to anyone.” He offered reassuringly as he brought his hand to my back, gently rubbing it, which helped me calm down.

“Thanks.” I whispered slowly looking up.

“Now tell your face boyfriend why we’re sat out here having this conversation.” He smiled slightly.

“I can’t be around him all the time.” I admitted.

“He doesn’t smell that bad.” He joked, I couldn’t help but let out a small laugh.

“I beg to differ.” I grinned.

“Anyways, you were saying…”

“Imagine how hard it would be if you were with someone you really, really liked everyday but you can’t have them, I don’t think I could do it.”

“Natasha, you have more butt kick in you than anyone else I know, you can’t just admit defeat before the battles already begun.”

“What do you mean?”

“Fight for him.”

“But.”

“Butts are for sitting.” He winked. “Look, you only have one life, live it.”

“Wow, cheesy.” I chuckled.

“If you don’t go on this tour, five years time you’ll look back and hate yourself.”

“And how do you know that?” I cocked an eyebrow at him.

“Did I not tell you? I’m secretly a fortune teller.”

“Oh wow, please enlighten me on my future then.” I replied sarcastically. “Do I get a cast as a Prince Charming in Shrek the Musical on Broadway?” I joked.

“No, you get the cast as Donkey!” He laughed.

“Hilarious.” I answered sardonically.

“In your future I see you making me breakfast in bed after a very fun night while the sun beams through the curtains.”

“Harry!” I hit him again.

“So that was my dream.” He joked.

“I worry about you.” I chuckled.

“I could say the same about you. So have you changed your mind yet?”

“Harry-“

“Let me make this clear; this is one in a lifetime opportunity, you can finally live your dreams, spread your music across the country, gain your own fans. You can leave that grotty diner, you’d never have to put a pair of skates on again. You get to spend every day with me. You’ll be o busy you won’t even notice Louis. You will, and I will make sure of it, have the best few moths of your life. And last you get to spend every day with me.” He rambled on. “And if that doesn’t persuade you, I’ll just have to get my abs out again.” He wiggled his eyebrows at me.

“No one wants that.” I joked.

“Anything to get you to change your mind.” He grinned.

“Why?”

“Why what?”

“Why do you want me to go so bad?”

“It’s not just me that wants you to go so bad, you want to go so bad don’t you?” He asked raising his eyebrows at me. I sat in silence just staring at him. “And because you’re fun to be around, you make me laugh more than anyone else, you fit right in and to top it off, you’re a girl.” He winked.

“And for once I thought you were being sentimental.”

“I’m a boy, I can’t help it!” He defended.

“You don’t see me going around saying all this stuff about boys.” I argued back jokingly.

“That0s because you just call my name out in your sleep.”

“I do not!” I gasped.

“How would you know? You’d be sleeping.” He grinned, I wacked him round the head. “Someone’s violent today.”

“Someone’s annoying today.” I mocked.

“Yes I know you are.” He joked. “So anyways, fell any different after my little inspirational speech?”

“Hmm…” I pondered.

“So, are you coming on tour with us?” He asked excitedly.
