It's Kind of a Coincidence

Bella had a kidney transplant when she was sixteen years old. Two years later, she is able to meet her donor, even if she doesn't really want to. Her donor is Tregory Jones. What Bella wasn't counting on was for him to be a beautiful, just out of his teens, boy with the personality of a god.

19. The party.

"Holy crap." Dan says as we step into Trey's flat.

It may be small, but it looks like the biggest party. There are people everywhere and they're all spilling drinks and playing spin the bottle or just plain making out on the couch. It's such a typical college party.

"Woah." I agree.

"Hey!" Trey grins, walking over. He kisses me quickly. He turns to greet Dan who has already gone to the couch and started making out with a girl.

"He works quick."

"He does. Anyway, remember, no alcohol for either of us. It's not good for our kidneys, yeah?"

"Yeah." I agree. That's one thing I hate about the whole experience. No alcohol which is such a normal thing for someone my age.

"Promise me?"

"I promise."

He smiles and we go into the party. It's actually surprisingly fun, considering there are loads of people I don't know here. Throughout the night, different boys keep getting closer to me and Trey just taps them on the shoulder and says in a nice, polite tone "go away, please" which always makes me laugh.

At one point, he goes and does some guy thing with Dan and other guys. I go and get another drink, wary of the other bitchy looking girls stood around in the kitchen. I try to avoid them, but they step forward, handing me a cup giving the fakest smile ever.

"Here, take this one."

I smile a fake smile back. "I'm sorry, I can't drink alcohol."

"It's apple juice."

I raise an eyebrow. "Sure. Thanks."

I take the drink off them and walk away. I take the tiniest sip and it does taste just like juice so I drink the rest of it. It should calm me down, but it just makes me warier. They must be planning something else to get back at me for going out with the hottest guy in their class.

I go over to the carton that they poured my juice from and drink another cup. Wow my mother must be proud of me, spending my Saturday night drinking juice and not vodka.
