1. The Nightmare

The sky is a bright orange colour, with a citadel enclosed in a mighty glass dome, shining under the twin suns, beyond that the mountains go on forever, slopes of deep red grass, topped with a fluffy white fleece of snow. It is beautiful, magnificent, breathtaking. It was the same every night, beautiful, quiet, but full of life. Except tonight, something doesn't  seem right, something seems different. Not the two shining suns, nor the bustle of people -if they are in fact people- I look around before spotting something I haven't seen before, a spaceship. I gasp, the warmish cold air filling my lungs.

I turn and begin to question those around me what it is, everyone I ask tells me to not be so silly, curiosity has claimed me. I seem to be the only one here unaware of what that is. I see an intelligent looking man running off, towards the museum, he seems to be the only one acting... normal. I follow him, hoping he can provide me with an answer.

I stay silent as I follow him, I was curious as to see where he was going. He stopped, I stopped and hid within the darkness, he approached a shiny cylindrical object. It was called the TARDIS -Time And Relative Dimension In Space- I had visited here many times, and they were always my favorite exhibition. He goes to enter, but a young girl, with brown hair, pulled into a ponytail, distracts him. I quickly realize he is planning to use it to escape, whilst he is distracted by the words of this girl, I take advantage of the situation and dash inside to safety. I hide in a dark corner just as he returns. He closes the doors and rushes to the control panels.

I recall what I had supposedly learnt, that you aren't supposed to travel in time until you are over the age of 16. But this was my only way of escape, I didn't know what was going to happen, just that I may actually survive, considering this actually works. As I feel the ground move and see the mysterious man take hold of the underneath of the controls to keep himself steady, I drift off to sleep, and wake up in reality.
