31. chapter thirty-one

We got home and I saw Harry sitting outside my house, staring intently at his phone.

"Who's that?" Colton quizzed, raising his eyebrows at me.

"My boyfriend." I smile before jumping out of the car and running to Harry. He put his phone down beside him, and immediately embraced me in a hug. He spun me around a couple of times before my feet touched the soft grass once again. I planted my lips on his, the kiss only lasting a few seconds.

"Who's that?" He whispered in my ear, still holding me close to his warm body.

"My brother." I whispered back, burrying my head in the crook of his neck, taking in his scent.

He always smells delicious.

"You have a brother and you didn't tell me." He whisper yelled, and it was so cute.

"I only found out today." I mumbled before removing myself from Harry and turning to face Colton, who was now out of the car. He leant against it, his arms folded across his chest, giving off a sort of bad boy look that you would see in school.

I motioned him over and he smiled before walking over.

"Hey, I'm Colton. You must be..." He smiled, shaking Harry's hand.

"Harry." He smiled back.

"Let's head inside." I replied, opening up the front door and walking inside.

A car pulled up outside the house a minute later, with dad and Taylor stepping out. Once we were all inside, we sat around the lounge room. An awkward silence covered us like a blanket, no one dared to speak first. Harry sat there, playing with my hair, softly detangling it whilst I sat in between his legs, resting on him.

"Harry, nice to see you joining us." Dad piped up, causing Harry to remove his fingers from my hair, and processing that dad was talking to him.
"I can go if you want..." He began, thinking he wasn't welcome here.

"No no don't be silly. You're just as apart of this family." He smiled, causing me to grin widely. Harry placed a soft kiss in my hair and let out a sigh of relief.

"Dad, if its alright with you, I'd like to go rest for a while, I'm kinda tired." I mumbled to my father.

"Okay sweetie go get some rest. No need to say goodbye to Taylor or Colton, they will be staying with us for a while." Dad mentioned.

"Great! Well it was a lovely lunch today, we should do it again sometime." I smiled as I lifted myself off of Harry.

"I'm sure we will. Night. Well, it isn't really night. More like 2pm." My brother chuckled, as we exchanged smiles. I waved goodbye before I began walking down the hall, until I stopped half way. I went back through to the lounge room, poking my head round the corner.

"Harry, you coming?" I whispered, and Harry instantly jumped up and followed me to my room.

I crawled into bed as Harry entered, shutting the door behind him. He joined me under the warm blankets and I rested my head on his slowly rising chest, instantly falling asleep to the sound of Harry's heartbeat.
