The boy on the stairs.

He smiled at me and I smiled at him. I walked inside slowly. All I felt was butterflies. Maybe this immersion wasn't going to be so bad after all?

2. Gone

I ran into the guest room and grabbed my makeup bag and curling iron. I ran in the restroom and did my hair and makeup. Then I changed. I think I look pretty cute. I quickly took off my glasses and put on my contacts. I walked outside. I bit my lip as I smiled at him. He looked at me and smiled. I walked into my aunts house happy and I had gotten butterflies in my stomach.

The next day I woke up excited. I jumped out of bed and got ready. I waited for him. At 3:00pm he hadn't come. At 4:22pm still no Anthony. I sat on the stairs. Maybe he was only here once! But I realized I had to think positive. I looked at the time on my phone once again. It was 5:40pm and he still wasn't there!

Then it was 9:45pm I was tired of waiting! I walked inside disappointed. I had done my makeup and hair for nothing! I took a shower and went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up and stayed in my sweats. Well that day he hadn't come anyways. I was so disappointed! I knew I had barely saw him! And barely knew his name, but I missed him! I walked to my cousin.

"Why hasn't he been here?"

"He doesn't live here!" he said.

"What?! Then who lives here?"

"His cousin, Angelina"

I laughed. That was my name...but everyone calls me Angie.

"How old is she?"

"My age" he said. And my cousin is about a year or two younger than me. "Do you know when he'll be back?" I asked hoping.

"Probabily tomorrow" he said.

I smiled. "Yeah, tomorrow" I said.

Now I knew tomorrow had to be perfect! And when I said perfect I mean PERFECT!
