Now Or Never

17 year old Dylan is a normal teenager until she meets the love of her life, Niall Horan... In a grocery store. What happens when she finds out his best mate Liam is her high school bully, James Payne?

7. Chapter Three

Niall's POV

The plan was for me to bring Dylan back to the house and hang there for a bit. Show her around. Then take her to dinner. Maybe a movie. I decided to wait a bit longer until she meets the boys. Wait until she really likes me. I chuckle slightly at the thought of Louis sniffing her out on the first date. Making sure she's fit to be one of us. Which she would be, of course. She is the most beautiful human being I have ever met. Ever. I have a feeling this will be wonderful. I catch myself fantasizing a life with her. Growing old together, having kids. I shake my head and sigh. I had it bad for Dylan Taylor. Now the only problem was figuring out whether or not she felt the same. Maybe she didn't. Maybe she had her heart broken in the past and she won't want to be with me for very long. Maybe she won't trust me. Mayb- I stop myself before I became paranoid. She was amazing, and to let her slip through my fingers would be the worst mistake of my life, I'm not letting anything screw this up. This time, I'm going to do things right. I will treat her like a princess. I will treat her the way she ought to be treated.

I pulled in front of a warm and cozy looking house with a small garden filled with small flowers I was too ignorant to name. They looked nice though. I walked up the drive way up to a red door and chuckled slightly. She was beautiful and superstitious. I knocked and backed away just a tad bit and drew in a deep breath. After a moment of silence, I heard a lock turn and the door opened slowly. I smiled and Dylan stepped out into the warm sunlight. She was absolutely stunning.

"Hi," she smiled shyly, revealing two adorable dimples. I stepped forward and opened my arms to hug her and she accepted.

"You look beautiful." I told her and kissed her on top of her head. She looked up and blushed.

"Thank you, Niall. You do too. Wait, I... I, uh... I mean you aren't beautiful. I mean... You look very handsome." Her cheeks reddened and I laughed.

"Why thank you," I said, grabbing her hand, "you ready to go?" She nodded slowly and I led her to my car and helped her in, shutting the door behind her and crossing to the driver's side.

"So, pretty lady, where would you like to go?" I asked her, driving down her street and turning a corner.

"Hmm... I know of a nice little park we could go to." She suggested. I nodded.

"Alright. Tell me where to go." Dylan directed me through the neighborhood and down a back road.

"And you can park over there, in the grass. We have to walk the trail to get there." She pointed to a field and I turned and parked in front of a giant tree. Jumping out, I rushed to her side of the car and opened her door and helped her out. She smiled her amazing smile and said, "What a gentleman. Thank you." I smiled back and grabbed her hand, shutting the door.

"It's what you deserve, love. Now, lead the way."
