Love Me.

Clearly, Sarika didn't know where she stood in life. One thing kept bringing her back to reality, her true passion. Dancing. When an opportunity she can't refuse comes up, she has to bring her skills to the next level, push herself until the end. Becoming a background dancer for Justin Bieber is a lot of work, right? Maybe even more than she thought...

17. Seventeen † [Epilogue/LAST]

6 years later.

"Justin, you're married." Scooter said gently. "Haven't you thought about... taking a break?"
"What do you mean?" I frowned, looking at him incredulously.
"Don't you think Shorty would like a family?" He finally spit it out. "Justin, she's almost twenty-eight."

I've been dreading this moment all my life, but what he was saying is true. I'm currently twenty-six but Sarika's already twenty-seven, maybe it's time to think about kids. I gave Scooter a slight nod, leaving his office.

We've spoken about having a family, but it never really happened. We told each other multiple times that the time wasn't right, but that's the thing, was it just I who wasn't ready to be a dad? After all I lived through fame, was I really ready to let it all go and devote my life to my wife and soon-to-be children?

So I thought about it on the way home, I thought about what Shorty wanted, what was her perspective about having a family. We've been together for what, six or seven years? Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's time to let the fame go. But, nothing's ever left back, it's always in reach to pick it back up. Maybe my career isn't over, it's probably just a couple of years as a break.

"Honey?" She shouted as I walked into our house.
"Yeah?" I called back, taking my shoes off.
"Could you come to the kitchen, please?" She said, which I did. "Can you hand me the bowl?"
"Look, we need to talk." I said nervously, handing her the bowl.
"Go ahead." She smiled reassuringly, somewhat taking weigh off my shoulders.
"We haven't spoken about having a family for a while." I muttered, watching as she snapped her gaze towards me. "We said we weren't ready and all that stuff, but I realized that it's just me. I know how much you want kids and that you hate waiting around after me. I'm willing to take a few years off, or if it's the end, than the rest of my career for a family, if that's what you want."
"Well, that's good to hear." She chuckled. "Because I'm pregnant."

We were about to have a nice, happy family.
