~A girl once told me to be careful when trying to fix a broken person For you may cut yourself on their shattered pieces~

9. All I am Is Trouble

Liam's POV

After our little picnic and what Diana had said to me, it was hard for me to focus my full attention on work. Her words were a repetitive rhythm stuck in my mind.

"Just don't fall in love with me."

"Trust me, you'll thank me in the end."

I didn't exactly know what she meant by that and frankly I don't want to know. It had hurt me, yes, but I'm just glad that she'll be apart of my life either way.

I was closing up the shop now and heading back home. I had a long and emotional day so all I wanted to do was fall asleep. As I was getting into my car my phone started to vibrate frantically indicating that somebody was calling me.

I took the phone out of my pocket and looked at the I.D which once again showed it was Diana. I wasn't hesitant on answering.

"Hello?" All that came through on the other end was heavy breathing and rustling. It also sounded like there was a lot of noise in the background.

"Diana!? Where are you? Are you okay?"

"Please help." She said quietly.

"Where are you?!?" I said rushing into the car and turning the car on.

"I'm at that one club on Sharpe Ave. Please hurry Liam." Then the line went dead.

"Diana?" I looked at my phone and threw it onto the passengers seat next to me. I hurriedly stuck the keys into the ignition and started my car. I sped out of the little strip downtown and headed my way to where she was. My heart was beating fast and I started sweating, worried for my new found friend.

I came to a slow roll near the club that she said she was at. I tried looking for her small figure and her flaming hair. I didn't see her in the front but when I came to an alley next to the building, I saw her sitting against the brick wall.

I pulled into the alley and jumped out of the car. I quickly ran over to her half conscious body and pulled her up to me slinging one of her arms around the back of my neck using my body as extra support for her. I hobbled her over to my car and with difficulty, managed to open the door and still hold her up.

As gentle as possible, I put her into the seat and buckled her in. I jogged over to my side of the car and started it right quick. I didn't know what was wrong with her. She kept on mumbling 'I'm sorry' over and over again along with 'I'm such a screw up' where I countered back telling her that she wasn't and that I didn't mind helping her.

I started to worry for her in the state that she was in so I decided to call one of my friends who I thought could help me out. I grabbed my phone and started to frantically type in the digits. In the corner of my eye I saw Diana's head drop down so I stuck my phone in between my shoulder and head to keep it from falling while I extended my hand and gently pulled her head back up.

"Stay with me Diana. You'll be okay."

The phone was on the fifth ring when it ceased and a raspy voice on the other end picked up.

"Hello?" The voice said groggily probably from being woken up.

"Harry? I need your help. Wake up now and meet me at my house."

"Okay I'll be right over." He seemed to notice the urgency in my tone of voice since he sounded more alert and awake.

I pulled up to my flat at the same time Harry did. I ran out of the car and over to where Diana was.

"Help me with her Harry!"

He was right by my side in a matter of seconds where he took one of her arms and slung it over him just as I had done previously. I opened the door and rushed her over into my bedroom this time. After some difficulty of getting her comfortable, I decided I would talk to Harry and see if he knows anything.

We both walked back out into the living room after checking on her countless times. I didn't hesitate to ask the inevitable.

"So, what do you think happened to her?"

"It's hard to say. Anything could happen at a scene like that but from the way that she was acting, I'm guessing somebody spiked her drink to have an easy time."

I started to become angry at hearing this. How could somebody in their right minds do this. Or even think about doing this.

"I hate people." Harry nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, well the world is full of them unfortunately." Me and Harry have been friends for as long as I could remember. When I got bullied in school, he was the only one who actually tried and gave me a chance. 16 years later and he's still here.

"And now that you got me up in the middle of the night and I'm too lazy to go back home, I'll just be crashing here."

"That's fine with me. I'll just sleep on the floor." As I was leaving to grab some extra pillows and blankets Harry stopped me.

"Hey Liam, how do you know her anyways?"

"We ran into each other a couple of times. We're just friends." I said shrugging.

"Uh huh. I'm sure. I mean she really matches up to that one girl you always daydreamed about. What was her name again? Oh wait! You don't know! Now is it her Liam?"

My cheeks were a good shade of red as I slowly nodded.

"Do you like her?"

"More than you think." I said walking away. "And it kills me." I said muttering to myself.

I slowly opened my bedroom door making sure not to wake her up. I tiptoed over to the bed and grabbed the loose blanket on the top of the covers and the extra pillow that wasn't being occupied and stuffed them underneath my arm. I grabbed the covers and pulled them closer up to Diana's face so she wouldn't be cold.

She stirred a bit and moved her arm over the covers showing off another tattoo on her upper arm. I leaned just a little to get a closer look at it.

Nothing but trouble.

I think I have to disagree.

I'm so sorry that I took forever for this update. It took me like 3 hours to write this because I was getting distracted and my sister and I were having a One Direction jam out session. ((so sorry if this is bad))
