My BIG Journey

'Sorry Alicia! My camera won't work!' I said into my computer screen.
'Sorry love... but who's Alicia?'
I froze... my camera wasn't working and all the person could hear was me... speaking.
"Umm-uhh... I'm terrib-bly sorry, I m-must have the w-wrong Skype!' I stuttered.
This guy was completely hot... and I knew him from somewhere...
"What's your name?" his british accent asked me.
"Evie" I waited for a response
"What a lovely name! I just wish that I could see your face!"
This was just my lucky day that he didn't see me... VERY lucky. Being obese isn't easy...
"Anyways, I know you are probably beautiful!" The guy smiled.
'Pssssh... yeah right' I thought to myself. But it felt good to hear someone say such a thing.. I've never heard the word beautiful being spoken to me.
I laughed and smiled.
"I love your laugh, too!"
"My name is....'

14. Chapter 12-Exercising & Dieting. (Evie's POV)

It's been three weeks since my talk with my parents, and if I must say, they have been so supportive.

And it truly makes me happy.

Starting the next day after that, I went to the gym at 6 in the morning, and let me tell you, it was not any walk in the park...

My step mom helped me warm-up with her stretching class, and I was surprised to see the I wasn't all that self-conscious! It  felt really good to just move my body from left to right and down and up. It was something that I have never actually experienced either.

It started to get truly hard when the exercising part came to action.

We started off on a tread-mill, running 3 miles per hour. My trainer said that it was a good pace for me to start with, and I tried alright!

After two minutes I was panting, sweat rolling down my forehead.

"LADIES! KEEP GOING! I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANY QUITTERS HERE!" yelled the buff woman of an instructor.

It hurt so bad, and I felt like stopping, but the embarrassment of the 'event' that took place three weeks ago made me shake off the pain, and I ran faster and faster.

The trainer looked at me, astonished.

"Good work Sarabel, good work..."

She turned up my speed and I ran quickly to its pace, trying to forget the aching pain that Liam has left.

I ran for two hours, not stopping to take a break, even when my instructor insisted that I did.

"Evie, you're doing a great job, but maybe you should take a break... I don't think that you shape is compatible with this type of work."

Her words made me turn up the speed as I sprinted along with the machine.

After a little while, it felt absolutely good to run like that, and the pain was no longer in existence.

I felt stinkin' on top of the world! :)

Once I moved off, my trainer instructed me to do 30 crunches.

I did them immediately and quickly out of anxiousness, and did 70 more.

My trainer was just watching me out of awe.

I never knew that exercising could be so motivating.

Instructing me to try out three more machines, my trainer started to write down some notes. I watched her as she wrote.

She caught me staring. "Don't worry, i'm just recording your progress is all."

I smiled slightly at her and continued my work outs.

After that day, I continued to go to the gym with my parents, challenging myself more and more.

I went to the doctor's, and she discussed what my diet would have to be.

It seemed like a pretty simple idea, and I started right away with it.

The more and more I tried, the more and more I forgot about my horrible past.

And it's now the fourth week of my exercising and dieting.

I weighed about 297 lbs. before, I lost 33 lbs.
