Back to Canada

Anna had always been that nerdy girl from Canada. The girl with the glasses, the boring clothes and the perfect grades. Everyone remebered her as that girl. But when she returns to her old school, nobody realises it's her. Is it her new start, or is it just the same life over again? And what happends when Justin Bieber, who was the worst of all in the past, invites her to his party? What happends if she goes? ...

54. ~ Don't Get The Wrong Idea ~

Anna's P.O.V.

We had been driving for about half an hour when he stopped the car.

"Okay. I don't want you to get the wrong idea now, but I need you to change to clothes in that bag" He began.

"Excuse me?"

"We're going somewhere nice"

"Because I say so"

"And how the Hell do you expect me to change? In the car? Forget it"

"Look Rachel, this was'nt my idea, okay!? It was Jenny's. And since you two can't be alone without scratching eachothers eyes out, I have to eat dinner with you. So yeah, you're not the only one not enjoying this"

His words did'nt really hurt me ... It was the way he said it that hurt ... Like I'm the worst person he knows. I bit my lower-lip, not sure how to respond.

"Go change in the house" He mumbled.

I looked outside and saw his 'house'. Mansion would still be more accurate.

"Whatever" I mumbled and exited the car.

I changed into the clothes from the bag. It was a darkblue and silvery dress that fit very well with my blonde hair.

I did'nt change into the heels, because screw that. I still wanted my sneakers on and he would'nt even notice.

Justin was waiting outside and he had changed to a nicer clothes aswell. I don't know where he did it, but I just decided not to think about it.

"You look uhm ... Less awful ..." He mumbled.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Was that supposed to be some kind of compliment?" I said while I walked to the car.

"Yeah but ... Well, it's true ... You look good ..."

"Shut up, Bieber"

The second car drive was somehow less awkward, than the first one. He stopped at a nice resturant. I turned my head so my eyes met his.

"Justin, what are we doing here?"

He sighed.

"I know you heard me and Jenny talk about ... It ..."

"Justin I wont-"

"No please. Hear me out" He sighed. "I don't know what to do about it. I already have enough on my plate with finals in a few months. If I can't even pass history or math with somekind of decent grade, how the Hell am I supposed to be a father? ... Look ... I was supposed to convince you inside the resturant, but this is more private. Rachel, I just need to figure things out with Jennifer, okay? ... And I need you with me a hundred percent. Can I count on you? ..."

I lost all words. Sometimes he may seem like a jerk, - okay, 99% of the time -, but ...

I know I should be mad. I know I should hate him. But the old me still believes in ... I guess more than just 2nd chances ... Like billion'th chances ...

"Okay ..."

He gave me a small smile, before we both exited the car.

"Wait we're still having dinner?" I asked suprised.

"Of course. It's already paid for"

"So you were going to bribe me, ... With food ...?"

"Yeah that's about right ..."

I could'nt help but laugh. But the truth is ... Tonight we're friends, tomorrow we'll be enemies.
