He's my Brother?!

A scarred freshman, Harper Johnson, was the biggest One direction fan ever- her favorite being Harry. She used the music they sang as an escape from her abusive dad, Travis Johnson. Like the average fangirl, she lie in her bed all day checking Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Youtube and trying to get One Direction to notice her. But finally, after winning a contest, she wins a trip to LA to see a Little Mix concert. But what will happen when on the plane over, she sits next to her idol and life saver, Harry Styles?

19. Comfirmations

I pull my 'mother' and myself under the table and cover our heads. I can only see the feet of the people around me. Since we are in the corner of the restaurant; we're able to see straight through to the counter I'd payed for just five minutes ago. I see a teenager huddled in the corner and an older woman maybe this woman beside me's name. I realize- I don't even know her name.

I hear another gunshot and a slight thud. I look at the woman beside me. She is shaking from crying silently.

 "Shhhhhhhh... It's ok, it's ok." I coo.

"Um... what your real name?" I ask trying to calm her.

 "I-It's Harper." She stifles.

"Oh, that's my name..." I say looking at her.

"I know, hun, th-that's the point." She stutters.

I put my vision back to the counter. I watch the older woman under the counter press a button. I pray the button calls the police. I hear about ten more gunshots. I pull my head down and I begin shaking. You know when people say their whole life flashes before their eyes when they think they're going to die? Well, they're right, but you also see bad memories.

He wipes the crimson bloody of the knife on the sheets that I am supposed to sleep on. He smiles a disgusting grin. He grabs my sister by the neck and drags her out of the door. I notice a high, small window above me. As soon as that horrible man leaves; I wait  few seconds before jumping to it and shimmying through the tiny opening. Pain shoots through my legs and feet as I fall to the ground. My body wants to run; my heart wants to find Eve.

I collect my bearings. I'm in a wooded area for as far as I can see. The place we were imprisoned in was, or is, a small cabin. I jog around to the side of the cabin to see the evil man, still dragging my sister, strolling across the breezeway connecting the cabin and a tiny... shed. I can only imagine what will happen to my sister if I don't do anything. I don't want to. I can feel the blood rushing through my body. Just as the man opens the door, and woman flies through the door almost taking the big man off his feet.

They begin arguing about something. I can't tell because my ears are ringing so loudly I can barely here my self think. As soon as the man loosens his grip of my sister, the jumps down and kicks him in the balls. I almost giggle because the only reason she knows to do that is she did it to my dad. The woman simultaneously slaps him in the face. The burly woman attempts to grab Eve, but she is too quick for her. Eve runs as fast as she can somewhere. I'm too scared to turn to see what see's sprinting towards.

When she sees me, she redirects her feet and runs at me. She hugs me and I feel someone tackle me to the ground covering me. I hear one gunshot in the distance and one a split second after the one before it. I hear screaming. Wait, I didn't scream! No one did!

I feel someone pulling me somewhere. There is a quick jolt for light o darkness in one eye. I open them and see Harper trying to force me under the table. Tears stain my face and my mouth is shaped in a scream. I turn my head and see feet next to my head. A gun cocks above me and Harper screams.

"No!" She yells as she throws herself onto my body as a bang rings out. She relaxes on my body.

I guess she really is my mother.
