Along with three of her friends who she has known since birth. They understand the whole concept about what a vampire is like everyone else. But there is way more to it then they know.

6. Chapter Six-

Chapter 6-

"I guess it's time for dinner." Evelyn stuttered. Noah nodded and gave a weary. smile.

She walked to the door and stumbled a bit. Without hesitation she opened the door and was surprised not to find, Reagan or one of the other vampires. instead it was a short and plump, bad spray tanned, lady, with her hair in a high bun. Her lips were pressed in the thin line and she just stared up at Evelyn with bright green eyes.

"Uh-uh...can i help you?" Evelyn asked.

The woman didn't reply just kept her lips in a line and lifted her arms up higher and that's when Evelyn noticed she was holding a quite large pile of various clothes. She blinked and smiled. Evelyn chuckled for the first time since she entered this, place. The woman scurried into the room and placed the pile on a table next to the door. She looked up and was startled to find Noah looking straight at her with a confused face. She looked to Evelyn then back at Noah.

"I'll see you later Noah, okay?" She didn't really want to tell him to get out, but those were the first words that came to her head. He nodded and walked out without saying anything. Evelyn shut the door behind her and walked towards the small lady. The lady grabbed a red dress from the pile and held it up for both of them to see. The lady peeked her head to the side of the dress and raised her eyebrows. She still didn't say anything.

"Sure." Evelyn smiled. The lady grabbed her hand and lead her to the bathroom and shut the door. She let her change in privacy but came in when she needed to sew up the back. It was only of those dresses you could adjust. She made Evelyn sit down on the closed toilet seat while she did her makeup.

"What's you name? How long have you been here? What is it like? Are you trapped?" Those and more questions were asked by Evelyn as the lady was doing Evelyn's eye, and face makeup. She never answered the questions. She stayed quiet. Not even a sound. When she was finished, she picked out some shoes, and jewelry for Evelyn to wear. She had only a thin silver chain necklace and three small rings, two on her right hand and one on her left. She also had her hair curled. She was spritzed with a fancy expensive perfume. Finished off with some long black teardrop earrings.

She looked at herself in a full length mirror and almost gasped. She hadn't ever dressed up neatly like this. She hadn't taken a shower, but the woman had made her look, actually beautiful.

The dress was snug, but not like, bad snug. the dress had sleeves like a tee shirt; a couple inches down the arm. In had a U in the neck and showed a bit of cleavage. The thing she didn't like about it was that it made her look 'larger' up top. It showed her curvy waist and ended mid-thigh.

The lady placed her brittle hand on Evelyn's arm lightly. She moved her head to point to the door. Evelyn took in a deep breath and followed her out.

They walked up and down long hallways, and stairs, which all, Evelyn had to admit, were beautiful. They finally arrived at a pair of shut double doors. The woman, Evelyn now realized was extremely strong, pushed open the door. Evelyn followed her in.

The room was a a comforting color, a caramel almost. The floor was a mahogany shade, and well was the long table. There was about 10 chairs on each side, all but one filled. the empty one was the closest to the door, on the right. Everyone looked at her as she walked to the chair. Noah, Conner, and Liam, were all there close to the edge. Conner was to her right, Noah straight across the table, and Liam next to Noah. She knew everyone else in the room were vampires. The way they watched her, the way their chest didn't move when they breathed -which was rarely- and the sense of alertness, ready to strike at moments notice. When she sat down she looked to her group of friends and they all gave little fake smiles, as they all noticed how tense she was. She laid her arms -from elbow to fingertips- on the table and stared down at the velvet tablecloth.

Noah placed his sensitive hand upon hers for comfort. She looked into his eyes, his beautiful as ever, and sighed. "You look beautiful," he whispered, as if the vampires couldn't hear. They felt all eyes on them, especially Evelyn, but Noah didn't care. Evelyn on the other hand felt very awkward knowing they were watching a attempt at tenderness to calm her down. She slid both hands from under Noah's and placed then in her lap. She looked towards the opposite ends of the table towards the vampires. Most of them were still staring but few were looking else were. Some had, brown eyes and green hair, blond and blue, blond and brown, black and blue, and mixtures.

She scanned across all of them until she locked eyes with one. He had black hair and brown eyes. He watched her closely brows furrowed. His cheek bones clenched then un-clenched and let out a frustrated sigh. He then looked away, brows still furrowed.

There was almost no talking during dinner, except for some murmuring from one vampire to another. Evelyn found herself looking back at the black haired one from before and caught him staring right back at her.

Sfter dinner, Evelyn was more than relieved to leave. Reagan had already made it clear that they couldn't leave which killed Evelyn inside.

Now, she was alone, left to find her way back. As she wandered around the desserted hallways, past each corner, she got the feeling of someone was following her.

Great. Now Im just going to get killed in these creepy hallways like every horror film with vampires. She thought. She wasnt being sarcastic. She was actually terrified that was going to happen. She started to bite her lip as she looked behind her to see if someone was there. She knew someone was. She didn't want to call out though.

I'm just paranoid. She told herself. Though she knew she wasn't.

She turned one more corner before someone grabbed her arm from behind.

"We need to talk."
