*Day of wedding*

Carter’s POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I turned it off and rolled out of my bed. I grabbed some running clothes, walked to the bathroom to get changed, and did my morning routine. I took my pajamas back to the room and grabbed my runners. I walked downstairs to see my dad awake. Well, almost awake. I sat down on one of the couches and started putting my shoes on. “You going for a run?” He asked out of the blue. “Yeah, but don’t worry I’ll be back before the wedding.” I assured him as I stood back up. I plugged my headphones into my phone and opened the front door to be stopped by my dad saying, “Be careful.” I gave him a small smile just before i walked out the door.

I was running back through town on my way back to the house when my phone started ringing. I slowed my pace down to a walk. I pulled out my phone and looked at the caller I.D. to see it was my brother Luke!

(C: Carter L: Luke)

C: “What goes on brotha?!”

L: “Nothin really, just talking to some weirdo on the phone.”

C: “Well I bet they're  the best person you know! Haha”

C: “So how was dinner?” (I knew from the time change that he was 13 hours behind.)

L: “It was good. Made myself some pasta.” I could hear the smile on his face.

C: “Wait! You cooked and the house is still standing?!” I know he isn’t the best cook, but he has a seed of skill. Only a seed.

L: “Haha very funny.”

L: “I miss you so much. How is everything going? The weddings today right?” I had told him about the wedding as soon as I found out, and have been keeping him up to date with everything.

C: “I miss you too. Everything is ok, and yeah the wedding,s today. I’ll set up my laptop so you can watch it.”

L: “Hahaha ok, but I want to see you before that!” He whined at me through the phone.

C: “Ok I’ll FaceTime you in 30. yeah?”

L: “Ok sounds good. See you then.”

C: “Bye.”

L: “Bye.”

I hung up my phone and started running back to the house. I walked into the house, took my shoes off as fast as I could, and ran in the kitchen.

Everyone was in the kitchen talking about the big day. I ran over to the fridge, grabbed the orange juice and the cream cheese. I put them on the counter, then grabbed a glass and the bagels. I threw my bagel in the toaster and started pouring my orange juice. “Why in such a rush?” Jacob asked me. “Luke.” That was the only word I said. “Gotcha.” He said moving his attention back to his bowl of cereal. After I made my bagel I ran up to my laptop and turned it on. After it ringing for a minute I saw my twins face that I haven’t seen in years.

Luke and I were facetiming, when someone knocked on the door. “Come in.” I yelled to the person behind the door. Harry walked in the room and looked at my laptop. “What are you doing?” he asked, walking over. “I’m facetiming with my brother. Luke, this is Harry our new brother, and Harry this is Luke, your new brother.” I said introducing them. “Hey good to meet you.” Harry said. “Um Carter we all need to go get ready for the wedding.” Harry said looking over at me. “Okay I’ll be right there.” I said. Harry then walked out of the room and I turned back to Luke. “I’ll text you before I call you at the wedding.” “Okay sounds good. Later!” “Later!” I  closed my laptop and threw it in a bag along with the charger. I ran and grabbed my dads laptop and its charger, putting them in my bag as well. I put on my slides then ran downstairs. We got into the cars and we were off to get ready.

We pulled up to the hotel that the wedding was at. I followed Anne, Gemma, and the other bridesmaids to the room that we were going to get ready in. I walked in the room and saw all the dresses lying on the bed, a table with makeup on it, a chair by the table, and there was a bathroom and a little kitchen. I must say, it was a very nice room.

Anne was having her makeup done by two other bridesmaids, and the others were helping each other with their makeup and such.

Gemma started doing my makeup. She applied foundation, then started working on my eyes. She did a light off-white color all over my lid, a light brown on the outside of my lid and crease, added a brow bone highlight, then applied some eyeliner and mascara to finish my eyes. She put on a little blush, and a light pink lip.

(Carter’s makeup)

She then started doing my hair next. She plugged in the curling iron and brushing my hair out. She put some "Moose" in my hair then brushed it again. She then put loose curls in my hair, then pulled it all back into a loose bun and pinned it in place. She then pulled some hairs out in the front, then applied hairspray to it all.

one of the other bridesmaids then came over and helped Gemma do her hair and makeup. I walked over to the bed to see that Anne’s dress wasn’t there. I turned around to see her in her dress and makeup done.

(Anne’s makeup and dress)

I turned back around and got my dress. ‘Great, another dress.’ I thought to myself. (Yes. The last time I wore a dress was last week at the dinner, and over the weekend when I had the fitting, but that was different. I have to wear this dress the rest of the day, and it’s only 11am!) I walked into the bathroom and got changed into the light blue dress. I put my clothes in my bag, then looked at myself in the mirror. It was a cute dress, but I didn’t think it looked good on me.

(Carter's Dress)

I walked out of the bathroom to see Anne getting her hair done while all the bridesmaids were ready. I walked to the foot of the bed and grabbed the lace high heels for the wedding. I put them on and walked over to Gemma.

”I’m going to go see how dad’s doing. Do you know what room they’re in?” “Yeah their in 136.” “Okay, thanks.” I grabbed my bag and walked out the door. I walked to the elevator (lift if you live in the UK) and pushed the 'down' button. After what felt like forever, the elevator finally came. I walked in and hit the button with the L on it. The elevator took me down to the lobby. The doors opened and I walked out. I walked up to the front desk and asked where the ballroom was. The lady told me and I started making my way there. I walked down the hall and found the ballroom. I walked in the room, and it looked totally awesome.

(Reception Room)

I walked over to one of the tables in the corner and started setting up my dads laptop. I plugged in the charger then opened up the laptop. I sat up the wifi then opened up FaceTime. I then turned the lighting all the way down so the screen was black. I sent a quick text to Luke saying I got dads computer set up and that the mine will be set up next. I walked out of the ballroom and across to the other ballroom. As I walked in the room, it was beautiful.

(Wedding Room)

I walked to one of the corners and did the same to my computer. I walked out of the room and headed back to the elevator. I waited for the elevator once again. As I entered the small metal room I turned around and hit the button that had the 1 on it. It took me up to the first floor and I started looking for room 136.

I saw room 136 up head so I headed that away. I knock on the door and waited a minute, and then Harry opened the door, popping his head out. "Hey Cat, come on in!" He said, opening the door so I could walk in. "Thanks." As I walked in I saw he was in a black tux with a blue tie that matched my dress.

"So are you ready to play best man?" I asked him. "I think so. Are you ready to play bridesmaid?" He asked me. "Um I think?" I said, more as a question than a statement. "Carter! What are you doing here?" Dad asked. "Oh I just thought I would come see how things are going here." I said pulling my best smile. Blake and Jacob came over and gave me a hug. "Hey guys." I said as we pulled away from each other. Louis then said "Kitcat!" Giving me a hug. "Louboo!" I said hugging him back. I hugged the other boys and said "Hi" to them.

I just stepped out of the elevator, Gemma had texted me saying that they needed me back. I had helped out the guys for about half an hour. I made my way back to room 229. I knocked on the door, as I forgot a key. Gemma opened the door and pulled me in before I could say anything. "What do you need help with?" I asked. "We need to find Anne's shoes! We can't find them!" Gemma worriedly told me. "Oh, okay." I said. I looked over at Anne and her hair looked gorgeous.

(Anne’s hair)

I walked in the bathroom and no one was in there. I walked in and looked under the sink. No shoes. I looked in the bathtub and... found them? I walked out of the bathroom, shoes in hand, and said “Found them.” rising the shoes higher with a confused look. “Yes! My goodness, Thank you Carter!” Anne said, grabbing them with a relieved smile on her face. "Where we're they?" She curiously asked. "In the bathtub..." I said, raising my eyebrows. Anne laughed and put them on. After that, we all just kind of relaxed.

(Anne’s Shoes)

“Okay we have 10 minutes, then we need to be done here.” Gemma said. Everyone did last minute touch ups then helped Anne. “Carter can you go see if the lads are down there?” Gemma asked me. “Yeah. See you down there.” I said before walking to the door. As I was stepping out of the elevator, I bumped into someone. I looked up to be met with two beautiful bright blue eyes. Me and the person just stared at each other for what felt like ten minutes, but was just a couple seconds or so. “Sorry, I wasn’t looking where I was going.” Said the boy, and it hit me. It was a Irish accent. “Niall?” I asked a little shocked. “Carter?!” He asked in the same way. “Umm.. Uh.. What are you doing down here?” He asked me, clearly trying to hide our little moment. “Coming to see if you guys were up here, or downstairs.” I answered. “Oh, well, we are downstairs.” he said hitting the elevator button. “Okay.” was all I said. The elevator came and we entered without any words. Soon Anne came down and it was time to start the wedding.
