18. Number 17

Carter’s POV

Harry had left about an hour ago so it was just me and Luke. “So… Harry seems nice.” Luke said, breaking the silence that had came across us. “Yeah, he’s alright.” I replied, sounding a bit awkward. We then fell into another silence. “I think I’m going to go get ready for bed. Night Lukey.” I said in a babyish voice before going up the stairs to my room.

I decided to run through a quick shower and wash my hair and body. I hopped out and wrapped the bright blue towel around my body, and I brushed my teeth and took out my contacts. I walked into my room and grabbed a big t-shirt and some shorts, some of the very few items I have that aren’t Nike. I un-wrapped the wet towel and threw it carelessly onto the bed. I got dressed, then I shook my hair, like a dog,  to dry it. I walked back to the bathroom and flung the towel back up on the rack. I then walked back in my room and lied down on the bed. Bored, I grabbed my phone and texted Blake and Jacob.

“Hey guys!!! I haven’t talked to you guys since you left!”

I sent the text then stared at the ceiling while thinking about what I was going to do, and I soon fell into a dreamless sleep.

Harry’s POV

I was woken up to the sound of my phone vibrating on the bed beside table. I grabbed the phone to see I had a text from Carter. Before I could open the text someone pounded on my hotel door. I rolled out of the bed half-heartedly and dragged my feet over to the door. I squinted one eye through the little peephole to see Louis standing there. I opened the door, not caring that I didn’t have a shirt on, and before I could say anything Louis was in my room. “Don’t mind if you do, Louis.” I chuckled. “Thanks mate!” He said very cheerfully. “What shall we do on our day off?” he asked, plopping himself on the bed and messing with with comforter. “I don’t know. What should we do?” I asked him back. He put his hand over his chin making it look like he was think really hard. “You already know what we’re doing don’t you.” I whispered slowly, my head tilting down. A sinister smile ran across his face and he bounced up onto his feet. “Be ready in 15 minutes!” He yelled before running out of the room, before I could say anything else. I sat there, wondering for a moment, then got up and started getting dressed.

After I got dressed, brushed my teeth, and did my signature hair toss to the side, I was ready to go. I grabbed my phone and finally opened the text I had received earlier from Carter.

From: Carter

“I’ll go back with you but I get to stay with Luke whenever we are in L.A. ok?”

Is what the text said. i decided that I would text her back a little later because Louis started scratching the door like a cat, yelling for me to come out.

We walked out to the car and got in. I sat down and saw the other lads in here has well. “Mind telling us where we’re going Louis?” Liam asked with curiosity. “I shall not!” Louis yelled, making all of us cover our ears. “If there’s food there, then that’s all that matters” Said a tired Niall, rubbing his stomach. “Yes there will be food.” Louis replied. Niall perked up and did a little happy dance in his seat. I just rolled my eyes a little and looked out the window. It was a really nice day out and I started thinking of places Louis might be taking us.

We soon pulled into a school parking lot and I saw there was a lot of cars, for a weekend. Our driver soon parked and we all filed out. He drove off, leaving us here. We all turned to Louis and said in sync “What now?” He winked at us and started walking to what looked like the schools stadium. We followed close behind Louis as he lead the way. We walked into the stadium and saw that there was a football game going on. It all clicked. Louis loves his football games. He would be there in seconds if he could. We found some seats right as the game was starting.

*Last Point* (I don’t really know that much about soccer so just bear with me here.)

the teams were neck and neck and the away team had the ball. They were pushing it up field. When number 14, from the home team, stole the ball and started kicking it towards the goal. She was soon looking for someone to pass the ball to. Number 17 was waving her arms letting the girl know she was open. 14 passed the ball to her and number 17 started making her why up to the goal. She made it to where she could take a shot and she did. The ball flew through the air right passed the goalies hands and into the net of the goal. The buzzer of the time going off filled the air along with the sound of cheering fans.

I took a closer look at number 17, she looked so familiar. A boy ran up to her making his way through the team of girls and hugged #17. I took an even closer look and saw that the boy was Luke, but still couldn’t get a good enough look at the girl. She soon turned my way and I could see her face as clear as day.
