My Step Brother

"Our parents...they don't have to know. We can be a secret." Louis said, coming closer and closer to me and moved back until I reached the wall. Louis was right in front of me; his hand resting right next to my head.
"But- what if they, you know, find out?" I asked, my voice shaking due to how close Louis was.
"They won't. It'll just be our little secret" Louis said, his face inching towards mine.
"Works for me" I said, grabbing his head and pulling his head in to kiss him.

53. Chapter 53

"Okay, so basically, I'm dating this guy..." Molly said, chewing her chewing gum loudly. She brought her skinny latte to her lips, trying to drink it seductively. I just sent her a bored look at her before scrolling through my twitter feed. Speaking of which, the number of my followers on there has decreased a lot ever since One Direction broke up. It went from 16.7 million to just 3 million. Well that really segregates the real fans from the fake ones.

"O...M...G... what's his name?" Molly's friend, almost screamed. I rolled my eyes at the two of them. Wow, guys- I'm right here, in case you've forgotten. I sighed frustratedly, going back to my phone. The less I participate in this mind- numbing conversation, the better it will be for my mental well-being.

"His name is Lewis. You know, the guy from One Direction." Molly boasted, twirling a piece of her poorly died platinum blonde hair around her finger. I didn't bother correcting her, I've got better things to do.

"You mean, the one with Neel, Harry, Liam and the Indian guy?" her friend said. I chuckled mentally, if a directioner was to hear this conversation- one could only hope that not too much damage would be done to Molly and her friend.

I started to zone out, and scrolled through my newsfeed. I kept scrolling until I got bored of it. My fingers went to the search box at the top of the screen. I quickly looked up at Molly, to make sure she wasn't looking at my phone. I typed in '@xxAmberxoxo'. I could feel my heart start to beat faster. I tried to breathe in and out so Molly wouldn't get suspicious. I saw her profile page pop up. I read a lot of her tweets; my heart swelling up. I read a tweet of her's that said that she got a new job as a publisher. I felt a smile starting to form on my lips. I'm so proud of her. My mind drifted back to when she'd ramble on and on about her future plans as a publisher. I remember the way that she used to blush every time she realised that she rambled on, but I always thought it was cute. If only I had fucked up all those years ago, I might have been able to be with her and shared these moments with her.

"Lewis," Molly said, snapping me out my daydream, "Go get us an Iced Skinny Flavoured Latte."

Someone forgot to learn their manners in nursery...

I sighed getting up and making my way in line. The man behind the counter was on his phone, talking to, what seemed like his girlfriend, while taking orders at the same time. I swear that's illegal in this shop but oh well. At least one of us is happy.

"Next" He called. I walked up to the counter and told him my order. He was making the two drinks while holding his phone between his shoulders and his ears.

"No, I love you more." He chuckled, forgetting about the drinks he was making. I watched as they started to overflow, before cleaning my throat.

"Excuse me....." I checked his name tag, "Dallas." He swivelled round to face me. I nodded over to the machine which was currently overflowing the cup. He followed my gaze and mumbled an 'oh shit' before running over to switch it off. He brought his phone to his ear one last time.

"Bye Amber, see you tonight." He said, finally switching it off. The name caused me to flick my eyes up at him.

'Stop being delusional! There's a lot of Amber's in this world. What are the odds of your Amber being his girlfriend?' The voice inside my head shouted.

"Sorry about that. Here's your drinks, sir." Dallas said, handing me the two cups.

"It's fine. I'm guessing that was your girlfriend?" I smirked at him. His eyes widened for a moment, before he said, "She's my fiancée."

I nodded at him, before taking the drinks and walking away.

Sorry it's short, I know :(

It's weird- it feels like I write a lot but then I look back at the amount I've written and i'm just like oh, did I only write that much? lol
