High School Romance.

Ariel, an image of a red-headed mermaid poped into your head, didn't it? Well, that's kind of me. A fiery red head and look alike to Molly Quinn. I just started high school (oh joy.) and I'm so not used to it. What happened to small schools? Oh well, but, I can't really complain. And all of my classes are fairly easy, and every single one of them I share with the most random guy, football jersey number 13. That's what I call him, thirteen. And I think I like him... like, LIKE LIKE him... and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way about me...

63. Chapter Twelve, Part Three.

I woke up hearing my phone ringing. I groggily answered and Ryan told me in a rush of words to get up and ready to meet him at a park a minute or so away.

Sighing, I got up and put on a pair of black pants and a white sweater. I walked outside and smiled as the cool air hit me.

I turned and saw Brianna. My smile vanished and I turned and haistly walked away.

"Why weren't you at school today?" She asked. She ran up to me so I had to stop and face her.

"I wasn't feeling well." I mumbled.

"Oh. And where was Ry?" She asked, putting her hands on her hips.

She rolled her eyes. "Ryan? Your boyfriend?"

Ry? Where did that come from? Was she still trying to make me think that they were dating behind my back? Only one way to know for sure...

"He wasn't at school? I thought he was." I stated innocently.

Brianna smirked and I immediatley knew she was up to some wicked plan in her evil little mind. "Well, I wouldn't feel right not telling you. He was at my place. We were having a little... reunion."

I smiled. "Is that so?"

"Really? Cause, well, I wouldn't feel right not telling you, Ryan switched schools and was moving into his new house today." I said.

Brianna's face turned into shock and she seemed at a loss for words. I smiled.

"Just leave me alone." I said defiantley. I made my way past Brianna and continued my lonley walk to the park. Taylor Swift's 'Treacherous' played on my phone.

I got to the park and already saw Ryan sitting on a bench. I went over and sat down next to him.

Ryan told me everything, how he had to transfer schools and how he had begged his parents for hours on end to let him continuing going to the same school. His new school- Jefferson High- was a block or two over and he admited he liked it better.

"But, Ariel, there's something else I have to tell you..." Ryan said uneasily.

"What?" I asked.

Ryan wrapped his arm around me and kissed my cheek. "I'm going to move, again, after school's over."

My stomach dropped. Move? Again? "Where?"

"What?! That's too far!"

"I know, I know, and I'm so sorry." Ryan said. He squeezed my hand that was linked in with his.

I looked into his gleaming eyes and knew that everything would be okay. Hopefully. I shook my head, this was crazy.

Ryan held me tighter in his arms and I put my head on his shoulder.

"Ariel?" He asked after a while.

"You know I love you, right?"

"Right. You know I love you too, right?"

Ryan chuckled. "Right."
