High School Romance.

Ariel, an image of a red-headed mermaid poped into your head, didn't it? Well, that's kind of me. A fiery red head and look alike to Molly Quinn. I just started high school (oh joy.) and I'm so not used to it. What happened to small schools? Oh well, but, I can't really complain. And all of my classes are fairly easy, and every single one of them I share with the most random guy, football jersey number 13. That's what I call him, thirteen. And I think I like him... like, LIKE LIKE him... and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way about me...

16. Chapter Three, Part Five.

I got off my bed and grabbed a change of clothes, then took a quick shower.

[ twenty minuets later ]

I walked outside and watched as a neon yellow taxi sped by. Along with it, a newspaper someone carelessly discarded onto the sidewalk.

I popped my earbuds in and started to walk to Stephanie's house, I sang Imagine Dragons' 'It's Time' outloud to myself and I started to let my mind wander...

I think Ryan lives somewhere around here... whoa. He lives here, over by Stephanie, who has to ride her penny board a few blocks over for the bus stop. If it's at least a block or two from his house to my house, why does Ryan walk me home every day? Why does he make the extra block or two? Why doesn't he just stop at his house, say goodbye, and let me walk the rest of the way home?

Maybe he really likes me...

That made me smile. And it made the tingles inside of me go off the wall crazy and I got all warm inside, and I just.... asdfghjkl.

I twirled to the tempo of the song and then realized I was at Stephanie's house. I took the stone steps two at a time and knocked on her door. She answered drinking a bottle of Arizona tea.

"Yo yo!" She said.

"Hi!" I said smiling. "Are the guys here yet?"

"Nope," she took another drink, "Nathan just called and said Ryan was with him and that they were on their way, though. So... maybe a couple min?"

I nodded. "Can I come in?"

"YOU BETTER! I STILL HAVE TO SHOW YOU MY ROOM!" She shouted. She grabbed my wrist and dragged me through her house, I only caught a huge oil painting that hung over a mantle, the signature, written in white paint, read: STEPH...

I followed Stephanie up to her little attic room: ( http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=97799842 )

She flopped down her bed and I took in the little things that stood out: a desk cluttered with paint things, countless One Direction posters, and painting that hung on her walls.

"Did you paint these?" I asked awe-struck.

"Yep." She said with a giggle.

"And the one downstairs?"

"That one too."

I looked at the million paintings, a lot of them were lanscape portraits of South Africa, and then a couple of Naill Horan, and the one I loved the most, was one of a cloud opening to reveal a dream-like area that took my breath away. I can't describe it as anything but perfection.

I heard a knock from downstairs and Stephanie grabbed my hand again and led me downstairs. She opened the door and there stood Nathan and Ryan smiling at us.
