High School Romance.

Ariel, an image of a red-headed mermaid poped into your head, didn't it? Well, that's kind of me. A fiery red head and look alike to Molly Quinn. I just started high school (oh joy.) and I'm so not used to it. What happened to small schools? Oh well, but, I can't really complain. And all of my classes are fairly easy, and every single one of them I share with the most random guy, football jersey number 13. That's what I call him, thirteen. And I think I like him... like, LIKE LIKE him... and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way about me...

21. Chapter Four, Part Three.

"Ariel, would you wake up?!"

"I have an idea..."

I felt someone's lips being pressed to mine and I opened an eye. I giggled and sat up.

"Why'd you guys wake me up?" I asked yawning.

"We were bored." Stephanie said. She sat down on the foot of my bed and shrugged.

"So?" I asked.

"So... I don't know." She said with a sigh.

I nodded and smiled. "How about we make breakfast?"

"I'M UP FOR THAT!" Nathan shouted. He got up from his spot on the floor and raced down to the kitchen.

"You sure know how to pick 'em." I teased Stephanie.

She smiled. "Yep."

We got up and followed Nathan's path, he was rummaging through the fridge and had already pulled out some things.

"What did you find?" I asked. I rested my elbows on the counter and watched him continue to look for random junk.

"Eggs, milk, ham, HAM, cheese, uh, some stuff for Steph that is vegan approved-"

"HEY! MY MOM IS THE VEGAN! I DON'T DO THAT!" Stephanie quickly corrected him.

He looked up at her and smiled. "I know."

"Your mom's a vegan?" Ryan asked Stephanie.

"Yeah," she rolled her eyes, "it's kinda crazy around my house, 'cause my dad is all 'MEAT' and then there's my mom... 'ANTI-MEAT'!"

"Well, at least you're still able to eat meat, except for... pork, right? Because you're Jewish?" I asked.

She nodded. "But I'm kinda anti-meat right now. Vegetarian."

I nodded. Nathan looked at her with a questioning look. He pulled out some celery and bell peppers. I grabbed a pineapple off the counter and started to slice it.

"You're good at this," Ryan said appearing at my side, "let me help."

It was the total cliche guy-with-his-arms-around-the-girl as she was cooking. It was cute, though.

We made omelettes and pina colada smoothies. Stephanie found the coconut milk my mom used to make her protein shakes, and Nathan and Ryan had fun making the sugar lining on our cups.

"So, the plan for today..." Nathan started.

"That's for us to decide." I declared.

"What?" Ryan asked.

"You and Nathan wouldn't tell us where you were taking us last week, now it Stephanie and my turn." I said mockingly.

The guys looked at each other, clearly debating whether or not they'd let us choose everything. I looked to Stephanie who had her fingers crossed, eyes closed, and nose scrunched up.

Ryan looked back to me. "Fine."
