5. The Fight

'I know!' the girl giggled beside me. I glared at her and allowed my eyes to drop back down to my book. She wasn't being quiet and it was really staring to bug me.

'Are you going? It has to be like the biggest fight of the century.'

I slammed the book down and turned to face them both. My eyes were wide.

'Fight? What fight?'

One of the girls rolled her eyes at me as if I were dumb. I wanted to frown but I held the urge back.

'The fight between Mason and Liam? Didn't you hear the whispering in Geography? They're totally going to beat each other to the ground. It's after school if you wanna watch it. Just outside the car park by Kispins. You know, by the abandoned mental house?'

There didn't need to be anymore description. I was up and out of my chair, flying around the school to G68, where Amber sat boredly in the class. I knocked on the door, and every pair of eyes shifted to me. There wasn't a teacher in sight. She was probably printing out copies of work or something teacher-y like that.

'Amber, come here.'

Everyone looked back down to their work. Everyone apart from Amber. She jumped up out of her seat and climbed over the desks to reach me.

I smiled.

'Mason and Liam are fighting after school. By Kispins. You wanna see?'

Amber nodded her head excitedly.

'Hell yeah! I wanna see that son of a bitch fall to the ground. I'm in. Oh my God there hasn't been a fight in years. This is gonna be great!'

Amber and I looked left and right. Miss Pazarez stalked sternly around the corner. Amber scampered inside and I slammed the door, and with a a large grin on my face, I ran off back to the library.
