Exasperated, that's what I was- am. My pride that was once stored within me has now vanished into billions of particles, dissolved and evaporated into the mass air that surrounds me. 25. Chapter 24.

Officer's POV

I heard it before I saw it.
I heard the raging sound of a horn, indefatigable and unavoidable. With every inch, we approached closer. Soon, the sound became too loud to make it plausible to think at all. I grabbed an umbrella and flashlight, stepping out of the car and into the rain. As I begin taking a few steps, the initial thing that I notice is a black vehicle, wrapped around a tree.
