Love Struck 2: That Summer

"Don't walk away," he whispered. "Don't leave me. Don't leave me here, alone."

Harry and Jordyn had a nice start to the summer. Their friends Grace, Niall and Louis all hang out with them to make the summer unforgettable before their senior year at Wolfridge High. While summer tends to go on, Harry wishes it could never end.
But what happens when the love of his life brings heart-breaking news to all four of them? Will they stay together? Or break up?

The sequal to 'Love Struck,' so please read that before this!!

3. Harry's POV:

When it was about 6:30, I left to go to Jordyn's. I'm so excited for tonight. It'll be a perfect way to start the summer.

Jordyn told me that she bought a lot of summer themed stuff, and she's going to hang them up for tonight.

But wait...what about her parents? We obviously don't have school anymore, so I guess the school project excuse is out. Should I just sneak through the window? I don't want her to get in trouble. Yeah, I'll do that.

I quietly opened her fence gate, closed it and climbed up the bushy tree she had by her bedroom window. I walked carefully on the roof, and lightly tapped on her window. I waved once she saw me. She opened the window.

"When did you decide to come in this way?" She asked.

"I didn't want you to get in trouble with your parents, so I just climbed up the tree."

"Well, the important thing is that you're here. I need your help with the stuff. Come on, I'll show you." She grabbed my hand and led me to her desk, which had summer themed decorations sprawled across it.

As she was explaining everything to me, I couldn't help but wrap my arms around her waist from behind. I rested my chin on her shoulder.

"Are you even listening, Harry?"

"I'm just so happy it's summer..."I whispered.

"I know. Me too. But please help me! We can do what you want later, ok?"

"Fine..."I slumped. When she finally finished, I perked up.

"Is it my turn now?" I begged.

"In a minute."

"But Jordyn..."

"Oh, Harry...stop whining. I'm doing something on my laptop. Can't you see?"

I stood up and walked over to her. "What are you doing?"

"Checking my email. Every year I get notifications on special occasions like Christmas or something."

"I have no idea. And I can't find the setting to turn them off. They're really annoying."

"Could I maybe try?"

"Sure." We traded spots so that I was in the chair. She stood behind me.

"You said it was in settings?" I asked her.

"I don't know. Try...try going onto mail settings." She wrapped her arms around me from behind.

"Ok." I did, but nothing worked. I tried every setting there was, but I can't find it any where. She kissed my head.

"This is frustrating. All over emails? They should really have a setting for that." I said.

"I know. I've tried everything too," she started to unbutton the top of my shirt, lightly and slowly rubbing her finger tips on my chest. "You know, we still haven't had your turn yet."

"Oh...we're not doing it right now?" I moaned.

She slid her hands down my shirt, slowly tracing her palms back and forth on my now tingly skin. I moaned louder.

"No, we're not. Did you think we were doing it right now?"

"Yeah...but I don't want to move at this point..." I tilted my head back so it was resting on her shoulder.

She giggled and kissed my cheek. "Do you want to stay like this forever?"

"Well, not just this. It's the neck kisses, the cuddling, the kissing, singing to each other and talking to each other about anything is what's amazing."

"What's your favorite out of all of them?"

"Do I have to pick a favorite? I love them all."

"I know. But if you had to choose just one...?"

"Kissing you."

"That's mine to. You're not alone on that one." She kissed my cheek again.

We sat in silence for a while, just admiring each other's existence. Just sitting like this with her makes me feel happy. Because I know she's not leaving.

She moved her hands from my chest and into my hair, and she rested her elbows on my shoulders. She kissed my head again, and I just closed my eyes as she combed her fingers through my curls, with my head still resting against her shoulder. I love her so much. Who knows what summer has planned for me and her? Probably lots of big things, or even little things...

I turned my head towards her face and I kissed her.

Our lips moved in perfect sync. This is honestly what we do every weekend. I would come over to her house on a Saturday, and all we'd do is just spend the with eachother. It was always perfect.

She pulled away, looking in my eyes.

"I love you," She whispered. My heart always jumped when those three little words left her mouth. "I love you so much."

"I love you to."

"What time is it?"

"6:10.Are your parents going to be leaving soon?"

"Yeah. I um...oh my god, the door!" She jumped and ran toward her bedroom door. She locked it.

"That was close. Your parents could've walked in on us!"

"I know. Thank god they didn't."

I stood up and walked over to her. I wrapped my arms around her waist. "If they did, I would have to leave. And I don't want to leave."

She hugged me back.

We stood there for a while, sitting in each other's arms.

"You realize that this will always be a memory? We're technically living in a memory right now." She said.

"What do you mean?"

"You know, this could be a good story to tell people when you grow up. That I was your high school sweetheart."

"What do you mean 'was?' I'll love nobody else."

"Even if we're at different colleges? Which we probably will be?"

"Yeah. We could have a long distance relationship."

She hugged me tighter. "You just won't give up."

"I'll never give up. Never." I kissed the top of her head.

She smiled. "And I won't either."

"Jordyn?" Her mom knocked on the door. We both jumped.

"What are you doing in there?"

"I'm uh...facetiming Harry...?"

"Oh. I thought I heard Harry's voice. Well, we're getting ready to leave, so I'll tell you when we will be leaving."

"Ok." Jordyn said as her mom left.

"Facetiming me, huh?"

"Good reason."

She giggled. "Thanks."
