I watched, heart broken, as Rain got up on her tiptoes and kissed Leon.

"Kim just called. She wants you back at the pack house. Now," Jake whispered from behind me. I was too focused on watching Rain and Leon and wasn't really listening. Rain turned to see me watching them, and a wave of annoyance watched over me.

"Is there anything else you need, Alpha Grey?" She practically hissed at me.

"Um...can I have a word with Leon, please?" I asked.

"Sure," Leon said, letting go of Rain's hand and walking over to me.

"IZZY!" I heard Rain squeak loudly, which caused Leon to smile to himself.

"I love Rain. She has the right to decide who she wants to be with," I said once we were out of the room.

"Your right. I love her too, and it's her choice. She can decide when she's ready," He agreed.

"Oh. I didn't expect it to be that easy. I also came to invite you guys to a banquet tommorow at seven," I said with false kindness.

"If Rain wants to go, we'll be there," Leon told me.

"Leon!" Rain called from inside their training room.

"See you tommorow, maybe," Leon said, walking back into the training room.

"Can my friends come over tommorow, pretty please?" I asked once Leon had returned.

"Of course they can. They're welcome anytime," Leon replied, looking at Jake, Ella, Izzy, Malcolm, and Jakayla. Lexi and Zachary lived here, so of course that wouldn't be a problem.

"We should get going," Rider said from the doorway.

"Bye guys. Bye Alpha Grey," I said, waving.

"See you tommorow, sis," Malcolm said, giving me a hug.

"Until tommorow," Everyone else said, giving me a hug in turn before leaving.

"You wanna finish the movie?" Leon asked when they had all left. Images of the Purge resurfaced in my head and I hugged Leon tightly. I heard him laugh before going back to the media room.

After we had finished the movie, (I think I'm scarred for life) the sun was setting.

"Rider asked us to a banquet tommorow, and I was wondering if you wanted to go," Leon said questionably.

"It would look bad if we didn't, so sure, let's go," I replied after some thought. Leon gave me a playful kiss on the nose, then suggested we get some sleep.

"Goodnight, Rain," Leon said before disappearing into his room. I was, of course, awoken by nightmares. I got up silently and went to Leon's room. I knocked gently on the door and waited for a response.

"Come in," Leon said, clearly wide awake. I opened his door and slipped into his room. He was sitting on the bed looking into space.

"I can't sleep," I whispered. I would have spoken louder, but I didn't want to disturb the quiet.

"Come here," Leon said gently. I walked over to him and sat in bed with him.

"You could sleep in here if you want," He said.

"Thanks," I replied, laying down. Leon layed beside me and I instantly felt safe.

"Goodnight Leon," I said, yawning.

"Goodnight, princess,"

"Where were you?" Kim said angrily once we had made it back to the pack house. Funny, as soon as she appeared, everyone else suddenly had stuff to do.

"I was in rogue territory," I replied.

"Why were you there? I told you not to go there! It's dangerous!" Kim scolded.

"You're not my mom," I growled. She looked at me, shocked.

"You went to see that girl, didn't you? The Luna of that pitiful little pack?" Kim said accusingly.

"I went to invite them to the banquet," I snapped.

"Oh. Sorry for accusing you baby," She said, giving me a smile.

"Goodnight," I said suddenly, walking past her and to my room. I fell asleep thinking about Rain and Leon.

"Wake up, princess," I heard as I was awakened. I groaned before turning over.

"I've got breakfast," The voice said teasingly. With that, I shot straight up. I heard a laugh that could only belong to Leon. I turned to see him sitting on the edge of the bed with breakfast in hand. He handed me my plate and I had cleaned it within three minutes.

"Wow. I've never met someone who can keep up with me while eating," Leon said, amazed.

"Thanks. I think. My friends and siblings are coming over today. I should go shower," I said, not really wanting to leave Leon's room.

"I. Don't. Like. Them. THAT JAKE GUY IS ALWAYS HITTING ON YOU! I HATE THEM!" Leon shouted suddenly.

"Leon, calm down. Jake is a friend, nothing more. He's not your enemy," I said slowly. After a few seconds, he had.

"Rain. I'm so sorry," Leon said, putting his head in his hands.

"It's ok. Really," I said, trying to lighten the mood.

"No it isn't. You deserve someone without all of my problems. You deserve my brother." Leon said, his voice muffled by his hands.

"Leon. Look at me," I said seriously, getting up and going over to where he stood in the middle of the room.

"It's ok to have problems. I don't want you to be like everyone else. I love you for you," I said, gently lifting his head. He smiled at me before changing the subject completely.

"Your friends are here," He stated. A second later, there was a beating on the front door.

"How did you-What are you doing?" I squeaked as Leon lifted me suddenly. He didn't reply. He carried me to my room and dropped me on my bed.

"Take a shower, princess. I have to go talk to my father. I'll be back," Leon said, kissing my cheek before disappearing from the room. Once I had finished showering, I slipped on some black sweat pants and a red shirt, leaving my hair as it was to dry. When I stepped into the living room, seven faces looked up at me.

"You've got a LOT of explaining to do," Izzy said.

"I don't deserve her," I heard from my father's study. I stopped, back tracked, and listened at the door.

"Why do you say that?" A voice identified as my father asked.

"Because, she's beautiful, smart, funny, swe- excuse me," The other voice said. Suddenly, the door opened. Since I was leaning with my ear against the door, I toppled into the study.

"May I ask why you're eavesdropping on our conversation?" Leon asked calmly, looking down on me. I stood up, embarrassed.

"I wasn't. I was just walking with my side against the wall and I fell when you opened the door," A lame excuse, I know.

"No you weren't. Everyone who's past by that door kept walking. At most, it took 3.76 seconds for them to pass. You were standing against the door for 9.84," Leon stated.

"How would you know that?" I asked, confused at how much he knew.

"For one, your scent was a dead giveaway. But, I could also tell by your spiritual energy. Your energy levels are unusually low for a werewolf. Lasty, your aura. You're have some dark thoughts running through your mind right now, don't you? Your aura is grey, and it's everywhere. Usually it's only a few inches away from the person, but your emotions must be strong for them to cover over five feet. I could see it through the door," Leon explained as if it was the simplest thing in the world. My father groaned loudly from his desk.

"There's something you're not telling us," Leon said, sitting in a chair.

"My father said that too. He said that one of my sons would be able to sense things," My fathed replied.

"What else did he tell you?" Leon asked, slipping on his jacket.

"It's all here," My father said, sliding two identical books across the table.

"Everything he had ever told me, he had written down twice. They found the books with him in his hospital bed when he died. They were addressed to me," My father explained. Leon picked up one of the books.

"Can I take this?" He asked, looking directly at my father, as if I wasn't even there.

"Yes. I suppose you want to get back to Rain?" My father said suspiciously.

"Yea. Also, I wanted to say I'm truly sorry about Lily. I have problems and I accidentily took it out on a helpless baby girl. I will reget it for the rest of my life. Until tonight, father," Leon said, getting extremely emotional. Then he was gone, like he had vanished into thin air.
