All Alone: Rise of a Superstar

Justin Drew Bieber has been through thick and thin.
An abusive step-father, a weak mom and a poor reputation at school isn't all Justin struggles with.
After loosing loved-ones and moving from Stratford to Atlanta, Justin seems to be coping well with the new atmosphere.
After getting a surprise phone-call, followed by meetings and arrangements, could this be the rise of a superstar?

Felicity’s POV

Justin’s disappeared, and I couldn’t help but think that the rumors presuming Justin has moved to Atlanta are true.

Alice is back from Paris, and that’s all she’s been talking about.

She left me early yesterday afternoon, claiming she had a manicure appointment at five. It left me thinking about Alice’s personality, the girly type.

She had gorgeous thick locks of ebony-colored hair and the most beautiful pale eyes. Her skin was a light creamy color, a lot like mine.

My hair is naturally white blonde though (strangely enough), but I didn’t personally like it, so  i dyed it this cranberry-brown color.

It left me thinking about Ryan, for some strange reason.

He’s become more possessive since he found out about me being friends with Justin and it’s horrible.

He threatens to slap me when I question him and he scowls at any guy who looks in my direction, even if they just send me a friendly wave.

I have to be by his side as much as I can, and when I’m not, he questions where I am and who I’m with.

His friends Nolan, Mitch and Chaz claim they’ve never seen this side of Ryan, and it’s freaking them out as well.

Even if they say hi to me, Ryan gets all upset and angry.

“Babe? BABE!” Ryan’s voice booms through the speaker of my phone as I snap out of my thoughts.

“Yes Ryan?” I asked him, regretting ever picking up his call.

“I want you to get your pretty little ass over here. I want to spend time with you before school starts.” He said, as I pictured a smirk evident on his lips.

“Ok, I’ll be there in 10.” I said, hanging up before he could reply.

Maybe I shouldn’t have done that, I’m sure I’ll regret it later.

I sighed and stood up from my bed, walking towards my sheer curtains and looking out over the front yard. Claude, our gardener, was pruning a rosebush and watering it with his other hand.

I drew back the curtains, tying them up before walking over to my drawers. I pulled out a pair of dark-wash skinny jeans and a three-quarter sleeve length gray flowy top, with a cute orangey-colored floral pattern spread across the material.

I slid my gold bangle over my right wrist and tied the two pieces of hair that hang around my face, behind my head.

After slipping on a pair of black and white Supras, I headed out of my room and down the stairs.

“Where are you going?” my dad asked, tucking his newspaper under his arm and taking a drag of his cigarette.

He looked like one the Italian mafia from a movie.

“I’m going to Ryan’s. He wants to see me before school starts.” I state, jabbing a thumb towards the front door.

“Oh alright.” My dad said hesitantly, turning around and heading towards the kitchen, his eyebrows slightly raised.

I sighed and walked out of the front door, wishing Claude a good day before venturing towards my boyfriend’s house, a lot, on my mind.

Justin’s POV

Today was my first day of school.

It’s nearly the end of the day and as I’m happy to say, I’ve actually made a few friends. I stuck to Caitlin most of the day, but now I was in Study Hall, with no one I know.

“Ok, y’all know the drill. Take out any school work you’ve had from this week or previous lessons and try to complete them. If you need any stationary, I have some colored pencils and erasers on my desk. If you have no work, take a magazine or text book from the back shelves. If you need a book from the library, you’ll need a pass. First half hour in silence please. Proceed.”

I gazed out the window, watching the raindrops pat against the glass of the window, and the low growl of thunder interrupt all peace for a mere few seconds.

I took out the map of Africa, that I was told to color-coordinate and retrieved the colored pencils from my backpack, placing the thin cardboard box on the desk.

I sighed for possibly the hundredth time that afternoon and starting to do my work.

“Hey, you’re new right?”

My head popped up at the sound of the voice and I was faced with a guy with shaggy blonde hair and emerald green eyes.

“Uh yeah.” I said, shaking my leg underneath the table.

“I’m john.” He stuck out his hand for me to shake and I accepted his offer, slipping my hand in his.

“I’m Justin.” I replied, smiling at him.

“So where you from?” he asked me, in a whisper and he cautiously looked over at the teacher, who had her nose in some old novel.

“Canada.” I said, smiling a bit.

“Oh cool. I have few cousins from there.” he said, nodding his head.

I nodded my head, and I awkward silence filled the atmosphere.

“You wanna come with me and a few friends to the skate park this afternoon… if you skate.” He asked, raising his eyebrows.

“Ah sure, I skate.” I said, flipping my hair.

“Cool, so the skate park ‘round the corner at 5?” he asked, raising his eyebrows and shrugging his shoulders.

“Yeah, sure.” I said, smiling at him again before finishing my work.

I think I made another friend.

(that was not a start to a gay relationship by the way)
