Justin Drew Bieber has been through thick and thin.
An abusive step-father, a weak mom and a poor reputation at school isn't all Justin struggles with.
After loosing loved-ones and moving from Stratford to Atlanta, Justin seems to be coping well with the new atmosphere.

Justin's POV

I slowly walked towards the front door of my grandparent's split level, which my grandma kindly opened for me and walked inside.

'Justin are you hungry?' Grandma asked, watching as I placed my suitcase on the floor.

'Yes, kind of grandma.' I replied, sitting on the couch and sighing in relief.

'Well I baked cookies before I came to pick you up today, would you like some?' She asked, walking I to the kitchen.

'Oh yes please.' I said, looking around the living room.

I spotted a picture on the mantelpiece and got up to slowly walk over to it.

It was a picture of me when I was a baby and my mom holding me.

A few tears slipped from my eyes as the realization of my mom acting being gone hit me.

She didn't deserve to die.

It should've been me.

I wiped my tears before grandma walked in with a few gingerbread cookies on a plate.

'Eat up, I'll be making dinner soon.' Grandma said, sending me a weak smile before walking into the kitchen again.

I walked up the stairs the best I could with my suitcase, before finally lying on the bed in my small bedroom.

I had a bedroom here, for when the times I would sleepover when my parents were in a serious fight.

I took a cookie and nibbled it, before I got a phone call.

Felicity, being the kind and generous person she is, bought me a white iPhone, which is amazing.

I thanked her and thanked her for about 5 days before she finally told me to shut up.

I smiled while looking at the caller ID before answering.

'Hey fel.' I said, unzipping my suitcase.

'Hey jay, how's it going.' She asked.

I love the nickname she gave me.

'Its all good over here, besides the fact that I'm having trouble getting around.' I said with a chuckle.

'Awww my poor baby.' Her voice came through.

I chuckled again before I heard her speak.

'Does that mean you won't be at school tomorrow?' She asked, sweetly.

'No, I won't be at school all next week either. Besides, why would you want to be seen with me?' I asked, frowning slightly.

'Jay, I don't care whether your popular or a nerd, as long as you're a good person that's all that matters to me.' She said, a smile clear in her voice.

'Awww.' I replied, before a cough escaped my lips.

'Haha, well I better go. Mom wants me to do homework. See ya JayBear.' She said with a giggle.

'Bye FellyBelly.' I said, before she hung up.

Those nicknames.

I shook my head before unpacking my suitcase into the set of timber drawers that were in the room.
