My Best Nightmare

I thought he was this great amazing guy, at first. He was supposed to be this sweet, loving and caring guy, but he was far from that. I thought he loved me. Then "He" came into my life. He made things better. I was happier.

Who's love story is this anyway? Who will Julie end up with? Will she go back to Justin or stay with her new "Love"?

7. Trust?

“Hate is a strong word. I don’t, necessarily hate you.” I admitted. “For now.”

“Good, because we have a busy day, and I need to trust that you’re not going to try and run off again.” He looked at me with a straight face. “So, can I trust you?” I thought about it for a minute. “I asked you a question.”

“Yes, you can trust me. I won’t try to run again.” I said. I didn’t want to be beaten like last time.

“Well, first you got to put on some clothes.” With that he left out the basement that I had been trapped in for the past few days.

My mind began to wander. Has anyone even noticed I’ve been gone. I haven’t gone to school all week. I’ve been gone for I don’t even know how long, it feels like it’s been a week or two, but there’s no for sure way to know there’s no windows down there. He walks back on the room.

“How long have I been here?” I asked out of curiosity.

“Four days.” He said sternly.

“Four days?” I asked making sure I heard him right.

“Did I stutter?”

“No.” I replied, scared.

"Here.” He handed me some clothes.  “Put them on.” I did what I was told. It was a cute outfit, to be honest. A cute sweater and skinnys. “Let’s go.”

He rushed me out the door, and into his car. “If you don’t mind me asking, where are we going?” I said a bit scared.

“I do mind, and you ask to many question.” We arrived at a big house after our drive. Justin greeted, who I’m assuming are his friends. There was six of them.

“Damn, what happened to you?” I heard one of them say, looking directly at me.

“None of your damn business, Connor.” Justin said a bit annoyed. I hadn’t looked in the mirror since I went to that party with Justin, I was too scared to see how badly he had beaten me.

“The girl, can talk for herself.” Connor said.

“I don’t want to talk about it.” I said out nowhere.

He finally introduced me properly to them. Connor, Jc, Ricky, Kian, Sam, and Trevor. They seemed really nice, but I thought the same thing about Justin at first, but you see where that got me.

They decided to talk about something, and didn’t want me to know about it so they went outside while I stayed in the house. What could they be talking about? I decided to try and eavesdrop on them. This can end so well… I thought to myself. I sneaked to the backdoor quietly. And listened to their conversation.

“Okay, so how are we gonna do this?” I heard Justin say.

“I don’t know,” I heard someone else say, I think his name was Jc. “we’ve never done anything this big.”

“How are we gonna get out of the country with her?” Another one said.

“I don’t know, but it needs to be soon, the cops have been snooping around my house. I don’t know how long it will be until they check my house.” Said Justin. Oh God. They’re gonna leave the country, and take me with them.

Suddenly, I was taken out of my thoughts.

“Maybe, we could fake her death.” I heard one say. What!?

“How the hell, are we supposed to do that, genius?” Justin asked.

“Ain’t there some kind of medicine that will slow her heart rate and doctors will think she’s dead, and she won’t be able to move so she won’t be able do anything to show them she’s alive.” I was surprised by that, I think Justin was too.

“Wow, Kian. How did you know that?” He asked.

“I read about it somewhere. We just need to way to make her “death” look like an accident.”

“Push her out  a window.”

“What, are you trying to really kill her?”

“No, it won’t kill her if she doesn’t fall to high or on her neck.” I heard Sam say.

“Right.” Said Ricky. Trevor didn’t talk to such. I wonder why?

“Hey, wait a minute.” Trevor said out of the blue.

“What?” They said almost in unison.

“I can’t leave the country. I’m not eighteen.”

“Neither is Julie. She’s seventeen.”

“My mom knows about the stuff we do. She would know I be with ya’ll if I ran away, and she’d find us.”

“Damn. He’s right.” Sam said, they all looked at each other.

“We’ll miss you, man.” Said Jc.

“What the fuck? Ya’ll would leave me behind over some, bitch?” It felt hurt by the name he referred me to.  I decided to go back to the living room. They came back a few minutes later.

“Julie, we need to go.” He said his good byes and we left.

“You need more clothes.” He said emotionless.

“It’s getting late, we’ll get you some clothes tomorrow.”

“Okay.” I said a little excited, I didn't want to show to much emotion.

He turned on the radio, and “Come on, Get Higher” by  Matt Nathanson played. I love that song. I sung softly to myself.

“So, come on, get higher,

loosen my lips.

Faith and desire,

the swing of your hips.

So, pull me down hard

and drown me in love.

I miss the sound of your voice.

Loudest thing in my head.

And I ache to remember, all the violent,

sweet, perfect words that you said.

If I could walk on water,

I could tell you what’s next.

I’d make you believe.

I’d make you forget.”

Then he changed the station, and “Cowboy Casanova” by Carrie Underwood. Oh the irony of the moment. We both laughed a little bit, but it wasn't really funny “ha-ha”.

“He's the devil in disguise,

a snake with blue eyes,

and he only comes out at night

Gives you feelings that you don't want to fight.

You better run for your life.”

Well, I tried running for life, Miss. Carrie it didn't work very well. I laughed inwardly, though it wasn't very funny.

“What’s so funny?” He asked with a straight face.  “She said ‘You better run for your life.’ I was thinking I tried doing that, it didn't work very well. It was more irony of the situation, than funny.” I said. A smirk spread on his face.

We went back to his house. My mind started to wander again. I’ll never see my family or friends, again. I wanted to be alone and cry.

       Justin’s phone began to ring.

“Hello. Shit. I’ll bring her over to your house to hid.” He hung up the phone and he grabbed me and threw me in the car.

“Shit. Shit. Shit.” He started the car and drove off fast. “Damn it. I told them the cops would be checking in on us soon. I didn’t think it would be this soon. Four days and they’re already thinking I took you. Someone must have opened their mouth at the party! If I find the idiot that talked I swear, I’ll kill them.” He was pissed.

Why do I mean so much to him? I must mean something to him, to risk getting into so much trouble. Why me? “Because. You do. I chose you, and when I want something or someone I’ll do anything to get them and keep them.” He said.

“I said that out loud.” I was shocked.

“Yes, you did, babe.” He replied, though I didn’t ask a question.

“Why do you want me? There’s nothing special about me. Why not some cute idiot. A tall, skinny, blonde? Isn’t that every guys dream girl?” I asked.

“Not mine, babe. I chose you, there is something about you, you’re just different.” He admitted.

“Is that a good or bad thing?” I asked confused, rather I should be flattered or insulted.

“I like different. I don’t know if you’re different in a good way or a bad way, yet. That will take some time.”

“What if you find out it’s a bad thing? And you’re doing all this for nothing.”

“Doing all what?” He said curiously.

“Raping me, kidnapping me, and pl-“ I shut up before I said something I wasn’t supposed to.

“Kidnapping and pl- what?” He spat at me.

“Uh, um planning, um to hid from the cops at the person that called's house.” I tried to lie swifty.

“That’s not what you were gonna say!” He raised his voice. Damn, he knew I lied.

“Yes, it is.” I lied again.

“Don’t fucking lie to me!” He yelled.

“I’m not lying.”

“You were listening to our conversation, outside weren’t you?” He turned his attention to me.

“No. I was sitting in the living room the whole time.”

“I fucking saw you.”

“No, you didn’t. You think you saw me, because I have no idea what you’re talking about!” I accidently raised my voice at him. He reached over and grabbed my wrist and squeezed it hard, until I screamed in pain. I turned and looked out the window the rest of the car ride.

We arrived at the same house from earlier.

“What did they say?” Justin asked as soon as we got inside.

“They were looking for you. They said someone from the party said they saw you leave together.” Said Ricky.

“We got to move things faster.” Justin said.

“Woah, you didn’t tell her the plan did you?” Asked Sam.

“No, she was eavesdropping on us, and heard everything.” They all looked at me. I was holding my wrist still, from when Justin grabbed me in the car.

“Julie, you better not say a thing to a soul.” One of them said to me.

“Trust I won’t. I don’t have a way to tell anyone. Being in a basement for four days, there’s no to talk to. I’m pretty sure I’m not gonna have the chance to say a word to anyone here either, am I?” I asked, knowing the answer was no.

“Hell no.”

“Exactly what I thought. Am I gonna be locked in the basement again. There’s seven of you, there’s no chance of me getting away, as much as I would love to, seven on one, the odds are against me, I couldn’t get away when it was one on one, which ended was worse than I thought. So trust me, I know there’s no hope at all.” They seemed to be stunned by my statements. I walked to the living room and sat on the couch. “Well?”

“Well, what?” One said.

“Am I gonna be locked in the basement again?” I asked again.

"I’ll be back for you, when everything dies down with the cops.” Justin said looking at me.

“Wait, you’re leaving me here?” I asked.

“Yes. You’ll be fine.” He said. That’s not why I asked. I finally get away from him. Yes.

“Don’t get to excited.”

“Darn, that’s precious time away from you.” I said sarcastically. He didn’t look to happy, but, I don’t care.

“I’ll be back.” He said, and he left out the door.

They all stood there looking at me. I was starting to get worried, I had no idea what they were thinking.

“You can sleep in my room.” Jc said out of nowhere. He’s kinda cute. I said to myself.

“Okay. Where will you sleep?” Please don’t say with you. Please don’t say with you. Please don’t say with you.

“In my room, of course.” Damn.

“Do you need anything?” I heard Connor ask.

“Clothes and a shower.”

“She looks closer to Kian’s size. Kian!” Connor yelled upstairs.

“What!” He yelled back.

“You got anything that Julie can wear?”

“Uh. Yeah.” He came downstairs with a shirt and a pair of sweatpants. “Wearing my clothes, sexy.” Staying away from him...

“Thanks, for the clothes. They’ll be washed and returned to you. Where’s the bathroom, So I can shower?”

“Upstairs and the second door on the right.”

With that I left and went up the stairs. I got in the bathroom turning the water on. I let the warm water relax my muscles.

“Mmm… “

“Woah. What did I walk into?” I heard Jc ask.

“You didn’t walk into anything. What are you doing in here?”

“I had to pee, and I clearly walked into something, you’re in moaning away in here. Thinkin’ ‘bout me?” He asked. Sure he was cute, but uhh. No.

“Well, aren’t you self flattering.” I said jokingly.

“Well, I know you’re not thinking about Justin.”

“What makes you so sure of that?”

“He beats you, most girls don’t like that. Unless, you like it like that, that S&M shit.”

Hell no. Trust me, I find no pleasure in pain.”

“I do.”

“The first time you have sex or when you fuck a virgin, it always hurts at first, but that pain is enjoyable. You didn’t like it the first time had sex?” Vulgar much?

“Hell no!” I admitted.

“Why?” He asked.

“Because, it was forced.” He was shocked beyond belief.

“You were raped? By who?”

“Who do you think?”

“Damn, I didn’t think Justin would ever rape a virgin, that’s low, even for him. He should have waited until you had sex voluntarily, then raped you.” Is this guy serious? What the fuck? No, he can't be.

“What the fuck? Or not rape me at all!”

“You’re pretty damn hot, I see why he chose you. But, raping a virgin, it ruins sex for that person for awhile.” Am I really having this conversation?

“Yes, that’s what’s wrong with that. What about waiting until you have full consent, then have sex like normal people do?" I waited for an answer. "This is the longest and quietest pee ever.” I said finishing my shower. I was waiting for Jc to leave, so I could get dressed.

“Oh, sorry.” With that he went out the door. I stepped out and put on my bra and the sweatpants, then Jc walked back in the bathroom. “

Sorry, I didn’t flu- Dayum! Your side and stomach!”

“Shhh! Are you trying to tell the world?”

“Dayum, Justin did that to you? What did you do to make him that mad?” Wow, I’m covered in bruises and I’m the bad guy, I’m the damn victim.

“I tried to run away. He let me out the basement, and the backdoor was open, so I saw it as an opportunity to escape. That’s when I found out Justin’s a lot faster than me, stronger than me, and was capable of more things than I thought.” Jc ran out the room. I looked for my shirt.

“Give it back!”

“Come and get it, if you want it.” He ran down the stairs, around a corner, I ran after him. He tricked me into running straight to everyone. “Look what Justin did to Julie.”

“Why do you care?” Sam raised an eyebrow at him.

“Because, that’s messed up.”

“What the fuck did he do to you?” Asked Connor.

“I was running I the ‘woods’, and he basically tackled me to the ground, kicked me in the side, pushed me up against a tree and punched me in the stomach until I passed out. I don’t remember anything after that. There I told you, happy now?” I grabbed my shirt, put it on and walked away from everyone. Damn. I was just beginning to forget that and what happens this, great, just fucking great.

I heard footsteps behind me, but I didn’t stop walking. I got to Jc’s room and shut the door.

“What the fuck is wrong with you?” Jc asked, a bit concerned.

“You had me run through the house shirtless. And it’s none of your business what Justin did to me! That’s what’s wrong.” I admitted.

“I’m sorry, I cared enough to ask, cause Justin doesn’t give two fucks about you.”

“Tell me something I don’t know. It doesn’t matter if he cares or I care, I can’t leave him no matter what.” I said sitting on the bed. He looked around to see if the other guys were around, and shut the door.

“Don’t tell Justin I said this but, there’s away.” I looked at him curiously.

“What do you mean? How?”

“You got to have a fully thought out full proof plan. You can’t just run and wing it. You have to know when you’re going to leave. How you’re going to try and leave. And where you’re going afterwards.”

“But, if Justin finds you before the police do.” He looked at me, with his concerned eyes, without saying anything else, but I knew what he meant. I felt my throat get dry, and my heart rate speed up, at the thought of what he would do to me if I tried to run away, again.

      *Justin’s POV*

I heard a knock on the door.

“Hold on!” I ran down stairs. “Who is it?” I asked, though I know who it is.

“Open up Bieber, It’s the police.” I opened the door. “Alright, Bieber. We just want to ask a few questions, and search the house.” The cop said.

"Do you have a search warrant?" I asked. Yeah, I know my rights, I paid attention in Government class. He held up the document. Damn it.

“Alright, ask and search.” I said smirking at him.

Where were you, March 4, 2013?”

“At my birthday party, my friends threw for me, I turned nineteen.” I answered honestly.

“Okay. Did you see Julie Henson, at this party?”

“Yeah, she’s my girlfriend, we were hanging out that night. We came back here, then she left and I haven’t seen her since.” I said.

“We’re just gonna search the house, don’t go anywhere, Mr.Bieber.”

“You called me Mister Bieber, I thought I was Bieber?” He looked at me with a straight face, obviously annoyed. They searched the house for twenty minutes.

“Yes. Officer?”

“Who does this belong to?” He held up some bras and girls’ shirts. Your daughter and your mom. I smirked.

“I can’t say, I know the answer to your question, I’d be lying if I did. I’ve had many girls here, it could be anyone’s.” I said truthfully, I’ve had more girls than I can count over here. He rolled his eyes,

“Alright, Bieber. If you know the whereabouts of Julie Henson please tell us.”

“Is she missing?” I asked, like I didn’t know.

“Yes, she was last seen at your party with you.”

“I hope they find her soon.” I tried to sound concerned. With that they left out the front door.   She’ll be in a different country, by the time they find out anything else. How are we gonna get her out though? I thought about it for awhile, then called Ricky.

“Hey, you still know that guy that makes passports?” I asked him.

“Yeah. Why?”

“That’s how we’ll get Julie out the country. If we can get her a passport, with a different name on it, we can easily leave.”

“Right… Where are we going?” “

I’ll tell you in person. You know ‘they’ listen to these phone calls.”

“Alright, When are you going to come back over?”

“I don’t know, a few days. The cops were just here, so I’ll stay here a few days, why?” I asked.

“No reason. I’ll talk to you later. Bye.”

“Bye.” With that I hung up, and went to bed.
