Because...I can love you more than this [Niall]

[It is a fan fiction - but because it is more like a romance, I will put it as romance]

Meet Jessie Brooks, 16-year-old teenager living in Nanaimo. She did not sing often, but she got her heart broken - unintentionally - by the guy she was in love with since grade 8. So, what happens when she starts posting cover more? Especially - If they are, One Direction covers.

Will a certain member notice it?

[I tried not to make this a cliché Fan Fiction, but it started as one. Also, it is technically 'based on my life' because, well, yeah.]

P.S.: My original story of this consists of 28 chapters - but this one was shorten due to lack of space for some chapters - as some of the ones I posted were shortened.

6. Chapter 8 – A ‘date’ with Mark…

Jessie’s POV

I saw a nice restaurant; it was beautiful for something so casual. It was had pretty colours, and they went well together. The new furniture went well with the wallpaper. I liked this place, I think Mark knew I did…

Mark grinned cheekily, “I knew you’d like it.”

I smiled, “I don’t like it- I love it!”

He smiled, “Good.”

I smiled, and then I hugged him. It felt good, something I always wanted to do. I guess that dream came true.

I smiled more, “Mark, you’re a wonderful guy. No one I liked you so much back then.”

He chuckled, “No wonder I never liked you then.”

I laughed, “No worries, it just, I guess… It err, kid of hurt.”

He sighed, “Yeah, I’m sorry about that. I guess I should’ve forgot about the fact Blake didn’t like you. Scratch that, he hated you, for no reason, he just did.”

I smiled awkwardly, “No worries, I liked you, without him, to be honest, if we dated back then, I would have just forgot about Blake hating me and try be friends, for your sake.”

He smiled, “See, that’s one thing I like about you, no, I love about you. You’re too amazingly kind, and thoughtful.”

I smiled, “So I’ve been told, like, a few times.”

He smiled, “I’m glad you’ve been told that before.”

I chuckled, “Yup, you’re amazing. Anyways, back to our date, I’m kind of hungry.”

He chuckled, “Yes, we’ll order now.”

I smiled as we waited to sit. When were seated we were asked what we wanted, and we told the server. I was super hungry at this point. I haven’t been on a date before, my ex never took me on a date while we together. I guess there wasn’t much spark or chemistry between us.

After we ate, Mark just smiled at me. I think, those feelings, might be back, if they are, I’m definitely screwed.

Mark said, “So, Jess, what do you think about if we, possibly, date?”

I chuckled, “I well, err, I, well, I…”

He sighed, “I get it, you don’t have feelings-“

I cut him off, “I do have feelings…it’s just, I moved to get away from one crush, now I move to London and see my old crush and the feelings all return…”

He smiled, “So you like me, just you don’t want to date because of old problems?”

I nodded, “I mean, while I dated Aaron, I still really liked Cane, who by the way, is the guy I like, or liked back home.”

He nodded, “Okay, well I can wait.”

I smiled, “Why wait?”

He looked confused, “What?”

I chuckled, “Ask me out…”

He sighed, “Jess, will you go out with me?”

I sighed, “I guess so – Actually, I’d love to!”

He grinned, “Great, so you’re my girlfriend?”

I nodded, “Definitely.”

He smiled, “Well, girlfriend, shall we go back to your flat?”

I chuckled, “Sure, watch movies?”

He nodded, “That sounds so much wonderful than a theatre.”

I smiled, “Good.”

He chuckled, “Well, ‘love’ let’s go.”

I laughed, “Mark, British doesn’t sound so good on you, stick to being Canadian.”

He chuckled, “Okay, I’ll stick to that, eh.”

I smiled, “God, you weirdo.”

He smiled, “Yes I am, but I’m yours now.”

I smiled, “The way I’ve wanted it, or wanted it long time ago. I guess dreams do come true.”

He smiled, “And you’re mine now. The way I want it. I guess I should have also listened to Paige when she told us that we were perfect for each other.”

I chuckled, “You do know that she was joking about that, just because we were so alike.”

He smiled, “It’s true. I know we don’t have true love, but it’s similar. I think we’re more like soul mates than true love.”

I sighed, “Yeah I guess…”

He chuckled, “Don’t guess, just know.”

I laughed, “When did Mr. Mark McGill become deep?”

He smiled, “Since I’ve begun dating a certain beauty.”

I blushed, “You better be talking about me.”

He smiled, “Of course I am talking about you. There’s no one else to talk about.”

I smiled, “You’re cute.”

He chuckled, “So are you Jess.”

I smiled, “Maybe we should head back now.”

He nodded, “Let’s go milady.”

I smiled as we walked back to my flat. It took us about 10-15 minutes, but it was worth the conversation.

I finally had one thing I wanted…
