Because...I can love you more than this [Niall]

[It is a fan fiction - but because it is more like a romance, I will put it as romance]

Meet Jessie Brooks, 16-year-old teenager living in Nanaimo. She did not sing often, but she got her heart broken - unintentionally - by the guy she was in love with since grade 8. So, what happens when she starts posting cover more? Especially - If they are, One Direction covers.

Will a certain member notice it?

[I tried not to make this a cliché Fan Fiction, but it started as one. Also, it is technically 'based on my life' because, well, yeah.]

P.S.: My original story of this consists of 28 chapters - but this one was shorten due to lack of space for some chapters - as some of the ones I posted were shortened.

25. Chapter 24: Jessie and Niall's First Official Date [Part 3]

She started leaning in, and so did I. She smiled, as she got closer. I pulled her even more closely. She lightly giggled. Finally our lips connected. She wrapped her arms around my neck. I wrapped my arms around her waist. All I could hear was her slight breathing as we kissed. No one else around us mattered. Right now, it was us. She pulled away after a minute. Her face was getting cold. I put my hand on her face and brushed it lightly. She giggled. My hand must be as cold as her face already is. She smirked and stood back up. I tried my best to get up but could not. I tried to ask for help but she rejected. She is probably worried about me taking her down.

Jess giggled, “I’m not falling for that Horan.”

I sighed, “Then how will I get up.”

She shrugged, “You’ll find that out, while I go skate a few times.”

She skated off and I sat there on the ice. People probably thought I looked idiotic. I felt like it. I continued to try get up. She would skate by waving at me innocently. As if, she did not leave me sitting there. I sighed and finally found a way to get up. I crawled towards the side and gripped it to help me up off the ice. Sure enough, it worked. She finally reached me again and giggled.

Jess said, “Finally Nialler, I was getting bored.”

I laughed sarcastically, “You could have helped me up.”

She chuckled, “Well I didn’t want to be taken down again.”

I sighed, “I wouldn’t. I actually wanted to get up.”

She smiled, “Why?”

I smiled, “So I could do this…”

I slowly skated towards her more, and she did the same. Soon as I reached her, I grabbed her and pulled her towards me. I grabbed her waist and kissed her once again. She giggled lightly. She finally wrapped her arms around my neck again. I smiled as we stood there. I bet there were people trying to skate past us. We probably look like love struck idiots. I did not care about that – because it’s her I care about. She grinned as much as I did. A few minutes passed by and I felt a vibration in my pocket. Must be one of the boys. I pulled away – both our breaths were at a slow rate. I looked at my phone and saw a text from Simon.

I opened it,

Simon: Glad you two were caught making out on the ice rink.

Me: Yeah…

Simon: You really like each, don’t you?

Me: More than you imagine.

Simon: She’s a good one. Especially for you.

Me: I know.

Simon: Keep her…

Me: I’ve heard that before.

Simon: She’s changed you. For the good, not the bad. She keeps you grounded.

Me: I know.

Simon: I better go now. Bye Niall. Tell Jess I said hi.

Me: Yeah, bye Uncle Si.

I looked at Jess, but she was not there anymore. I looked around wondering where she was. I was about to call out for her. When, I felt two hands on my eyes. It must be Jess. I heard her giggle, it was definitely Jess. I turned around slowly and sure enough, it was Jess.

Jess giggled more, “Who were you texting? You had a goofy grin before I skated off.”

I chuckled, “It was Simon.”

She laughed, “Since when were you into old men?”

I laughed, “He isn’t that old.”

She chuckled, “Well he’s older than us by more than 10 years. So he’s considered old.”

I laughed, “Odd brain of yours.”

She shrugged, “Whatever.”

I laughed, “Pictures have been posted of us kissing…already.”

She laughed, “That’s what your goofy grin was about?”

I shook my head, “He was asking about how our feelings were true, not fake.”

She laughed, “Definitely are real.” She came closer to me and wrapped her arms around me again.

I smiled and brought her closer – I actually was starting to get cold. She brought me body heat. She laughed as she was in front of me. I just kept the same goofy grin on my face. She leaned in slowly and pecked my lips. Then she un-wrapped her arms and started skating away.

Jess giggled, “Catch me for more.”

I sighed, “Not fair, you can skate.”

She giggled more, “Well when we’re off the ice, you can.” She winked and skated away.

I slowly skated behind her trying to catch up to her. I did not want her near just to kiss, but I was actually cold right now. I looked at the time and noticed it has been 45 minutes since we have been on the ice. I had not noticed we were on this long. She finally came up to me again. She skated right towards me. Once she reached me, she grabbed me a kissed me again. I smiled and pulled her close again. She giggled lightly. She pulled away from the kiss, but was still in front of me.

Jess whispered, “You’re cold.”

I chuckled lightly, “That’s why I want you near.”

She giggled, “I’ll stay, right here, with you.”

I smiled, “Good.”

I pulled her in for another kiss. When we pulled away, I decided we should start skating again. She started skating slowly and gripped onto her hand. She faced towards me and skated backwards. She slowly started skating faster. She was dragging me with her. I smiled as I got used to skating. I started speeding up myself. I think I finally got used to skating. We continued skating like that until it was time to go.

When it was done, it was almost 9pm. It was darker, and colder. I took off my skates and put on my shoes. Jess took off her skates and put her boots on. When she put them on, I grabbed her hand and pulled her up. I grabbed both our skates and brought them to the counter. She smiled and we walked towards a big wheel. It was like a Ferris wheel, but it was much different from other Ferris Wheels. We got closer and it was called the ‘Giant Observer Wheel’. It was huge. It had bright lights – that matched the winter theme. It was nice looking. Jess smiled as we reached it.

She gave the worked our tickets and we waited until it stopped at one of the pods. It looked as if it was built for four people. It was warm, because it was plush inside. It looked cosy. Jess and I walked inside of there.

I smiled, “You got this?”

She nodded, “It’s perfect.”

I nodded, “Definitely is. Why are you making this so romantic?”

She smiled, “There’s a reason why I took you out…”

I nodded, “Why is that?”

She smiled, “I was wondering…if you want to go out with me – like boyfriend-girlfriend?”

I smiled, “That’s what this was all about?”

She nodded, “I wanted it right, instead of just coming out with the question.”

I chuckled, “If course I’d love to go out with you.”

She smiled, “Great. By the way, that was Mark’s advice. He wanted me to give you a chance – now.”

I smiled, “Now I like him…”

She giggled, “You’re silly Horan.”

I smiled, “Yes I am. I like it though.”

She chuckled, “Come here.”

I smiled and walked closer to her. I brought her in for a hug. She gladly accepted the hug and nuzzled herself into my neck. I smiled. I could get used to her doing this. In the past year and a half, this has become more normal than anything has. I am used to it being the lads, but now it is Jess. She looked up at me a pecked me. She was about to pull away when I kept her there. She lightly giggled as I pulled her even closer. I smiled as we sat down on the little seating area. When we sat down, I actually slowly pushed her down. As I laid her down, I was holding my body weight above her. She smiled. We laid there snogging for a few more minutes until we needed air.

I pulled away breathless, ”That, err, was, holy…”

She giggled, “Yeah.”

I smiled, “I was enjoying that…”

She giggled again, “Me too.”

I grinned cheekily and slowly laid her down again. Before I could kiss her, she just giggled. Once my lips touched hers, she stopped giggling. I was hovering above her again, still trying to keep my body weight off her. Two minutes into our snog session, my arms started hurting. I slowly laid myself on top of her, trying not to hurt her. She giggled knowing what I was doing. After a few more minutes, I heard vibrating again. This time it wasn’t my phone.

I sighed as I pulled away, “Jess, answer, your, phone.”

She nodded a looked at her phone. She gulped. She showed me her phone.

Mark: Paige isn’t doing too well….

Grace: Jess you need to come home.

Aaron: Jess, please come home.

Audrey: Jess, we need you.

Anne: Jess, everyone needs you home. Paige is getting worse.

I sighed next to her; suddenly she rested her face in my chest. I could feel water soak through my hoodie slowly. I wrapped my arms around her a slowly comforted her. I started lightly singing into her hair. I could feel her trying to smile. I know how hurt she must be right now.
