Because...I can love you more than this [Niall]

[It is a fan fiction - but because it is more like a romance, I will put it as romance]

Meet Jessie Brooks, 16-year-old teenager living in Nanaimo. She did not sing often, but she got her heart broken - unintentionally - by the guy she was in love with since grade 8. So, what happens when she starts posting cover more? Especially - If they are, One Direction covers.

Will a certain member notice it?

[I tried not to make this a cliché Fan Fiction, but it started as one. Also, it is technically 'based on my life' because, well, yeah.]

P.S.: My original story of this consists of 28 chapters - but this one was shorten due to lack of space for some chapters - as some of the ones I posted were shortened.

15. Chapter 17: Home Finally...

Jessie’s POV

Mark and I napped until super time here. My parents made one of my favourite, Fettuccine Alfredo; they didn’t have the chicken, so it’s not my exact favourite. But it will do. My parents know me best.

I walked downstairs and the smelled the food.

My brother, Fred said, “Hey little sis.”

I smiled, “Hey bro!”

He smiled, “Come on show your brother some love.”

I chuckled, “I don’t know-“I hugged him, “Never mind, you deserved it, because I missed you.”

He smiled, “I missed you too sis.”

I laughed, “That’s good.”

He smiled, “Didn’t you miss me more?”

I chuckled, “Of course I did.”

He smiled, “So sis, who’s the mister?”

I chuckled, “You mean Mark? He’s my boyfriend.”

He gasped, “I finally met a boyfriend of yours…I didn’t meet your first one.”

I chuckled, “Yeah, he’s a special one.”

He smiled, “Good, as long as he doesn’t break your heart, he’s good.”

I smiled, “I think he’s good.”

Mark smiled, “I will never hurt her.”

My brother smiled, “Good to hear.”

I smiled, “Well I’ve got to go get changed quickly, get to know each other.”

I really hope my brother and Mark get along. I mean, the boys didn’t like him at first, until they got to know him more. I know they aren’t best friends, but it’s good enough. I can’t have the people I love, hate the person I’m dating.

I ran to my old room, my parents left it the same, but now it’s a guest room. I like that my parents were cool with keeping it this way. I was going to change until I heard my dad calling my name,

Dad yelled, “Grace is here Jess!”

I smiled, “Okay dad!”

I ran downstairs and saw Grace.

She squealed a little, “Oh my god, Jess, you’re home, finally!”

I smiled, “Yes I am.”

She smiled, “I’m so glad, everyone will be happy to see you.”

I smiled, “Actually, are you busy tomorrow?”

She shook her head, “Just school.”

I smiled, “Well guess who’s joining you at school tomorrow?”

She smiled, “Please tell me it’s you?”

I nodded, “Yeah-“

She jumped up and down, “Oh my, oh my, oh my god you’re coming!”

I smiled, “Yeah I am, Mark would join, but he’s going to see family, so he’ll join at Youth on Friday.”

She nodded, “Okay, so we’ll catch you up one what’s going on around here.”

I nodded, “Yeah, okay. Start me on basics, you?”

She smiled, “Me, well I am still single. I haven’t found ‘Mr. Right’ yet.”

I nodded, “I haven’t found ‘Mr. Right’ but maybe something similar.”

She nodded, “Yeah, Mark’s perfect for you.”

I smiled, “Yes he is.”

She laughed, “Well you better be glad that you met Mark, because he is definitely perfect for you.”

I smiled, “Yeah, I guess I’ll find out if he is ‘Mr. Right’ or just ‘Mr. Right now’ soon.”

She chuckled, “Yeah, I guess.”

I laughed, “So are Paige and Aaron still dating?”

She nodded, “Yup, ever since grade 9.”

I smiled, “I am glad they have been together this long, they deserve it.”

She nodded, “They are so perfect for each other, just like you and Mark.”

I nodded, “I don’t know how many times we have already talked about Mark.”

She chuckled, “A lot, it is just true.”

I nodded, “I guess…”

Mark snuck up behind me, “Hey sweetie, your brother likes me.”

I smiled, “Yay!” I kissed his cheek.

He smiled, “I’m glad too sweetie.”

Grace smiled, “Aww, you two are too cute!”

I blushed, “Err, yeah, we are… I have heard that from the boys.”

She laughed, “The boys must be jealous.”

I was confused, “Huh, what do you mean?”

She chuckled, “I mean you have it perfect. You’re living with famous people but you aren’t like a millionaire type famous, just YouTube famous. You have a perfect boyfriend. People who want to be you. Yeah, they’re jealous because they’re famous, but too famous that everyone knows about every single detail of their life. While people don’t know much about you.”

I nodded, “Err, that’s understandable?”

She shrugged, “I just thought it was something that made sense…”

I laughed, “Of course you do, I guess that’s why I was the brain of things sometimes.”

She gave me an evil glare, “Oh just shut it Jess.”

I faked pain, “Ouch…”

She giggled, “I’m sorry Jessie.”

I chuckled, “No worries.”

She smiled, “Good. We should go eat dinner, because I am hungry!”

I chuckled, “Weirdo.”

She smiled, “Yeah, and you are weird too Jess.”

I laughed, she’s my best friend… The one I won’t see much anymore.

I miss our memories while I’m in London and she’s here. I miss how we became best friends. I miss the jokes, the laughs. I miss the cries, the tears, the fears. I miss the random arguments, the random disses. I miss telling each other everything. I just miss it here sometimes.

I’m also glad to be the city I’ve always wanted to be in. I’m glad the be with the band I love the most. I’m glad to be the boy I used to like so much. I’m glad of the new life, just the old life I miss so much.

Mark smiled at me, “Sweetie, you okay?”

I nodded, “Just thinking…”

He nodded, “About what, hun?”

I smiled, “Everything, old memories, new memories.”

He nodded, “And?”

I sighed, “I know what I want to do…”

He nodded, “Yeah?”

“I want to…”

Good to see old friends, remember old memories, and gain new facts.
