Aaryn's POV

I played a song on my piano to forget about the guitar. The guitar... it was smashed... to pieces. That was my best memory of Cali. My favorite memory of LA. It's almost symbolic.. My life in Cali is over now, and I have to move on... But a part of me doesn't want to move on.. That was my first guitar that I ever bought. I never thought it'd end up so... broken.

A couple tears rolled down my cheeks and then there was a soft knock on the door.

"Go away, Sydney." I said sternly.

"It's Harry..."

I didn't answer after that, but he slowly opened the door.

I didn't think about what I was doing, I walked over to Harry and buried my face in his shirt. He jumped a bit but wrapped his arms around me.

My tears soaked his shirt as I placed my arms around him as well. He guided me to a chair that he sat in and placed me in his lap.

"It's okay," He whispered as he played with my hair.

I shook my head and continued to cry into him. What was I doing? At this point, I didn't care. I just needed a friend. I don't know where Hazel was in all of this, but she was no where around here.

Harry's POV

Why did it have to take all of this pain to get her into my arms? I was happy that she was there, but I kind of wish that she was happy that she was there. That guitar I know meant a lot to her.

I rocked back and forth on the chair and studied her a bit. She was so fragile, delicate, and adorable. I wish she knew how much I liked her. It feels like she was made for me; she sit perfectly in my lap. I held her closer as she started to calm down.

"She thinks I'm trying to steal you away from her," Aaryn said, looking up at me.

Mascara leaked down her face, but she still looked perfect. It's really hard to explain.

"I'm not hers to steal," I said as I gave her a witty smile.

I saw a little smile come across her face, which sent butterflies attacking my stomach.

"She seems to think so. She was already labeling you her soulmate when she walked through the door."

"I mean, why wouldn't she?" I joked.

She punched me lightly as I smiled helplessly.

"Why wouldn't you?"

Oh crap. I just said that......

She looked up at me a bit confused, "What was that?"
"Uhhhhh.... well...." I stuttered a bit as I tried to gather my thoughts, "I sort of... I... I sort... I sort of like you Aaryn."

Aaryn's confused look broke from her face into a toothy smile.

A smile? I wasn't expecting that. I was expecting some dramatic turn away.

Without justifying my actions, I did it. I kissed Aaryn Scott.

It surprised me when I felt her kiss me back, but shocked me when the door slammed open. I could tell by the loud pitched scream that it was Sydney. I felt a wave of sadness come over me as Aaryn jumped out of my lap.
