Aaryn Scott is a junior at Baxton High. She's newly 17 It's her first year at a boarding school and so far, she hates it. She's already made an enemy, Sydney Star, the queen bee of Baxton who happens to be her new roommate. She then meets five of the nicest boys she could ever meet, and one of them end up stealing her heart, leaving Sydney jealous and furious. Sydney Starr is ready to kill.

10. He's just not that into you.

Aaryn's POV

The bell rang and I walked out of the door. We had study hall next, meaning no work. I really don't know why it isn't after math class, but, hey, it's a reason to procrastinate and I won't complain about that.

I walked into study hall and took a random seat. These seats are arranged in groups of twos. Everyone filed in pretty quickly, and I was surprised to see Sydney take the seat across from me.

"You must think you're so funny," She said, plopping her stuff down on the desk.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Sydney," I said with a hint of disgust in my voice.

"You were totally flirting with Harry during poetry," Sydney argues.

The teacher all of a sudden bursts in and looks around, "Welcome to Baxton! Basically in this class you're free to do your work and if you don't have any, do whatever you want."

Do whatever I want? As in leave?!!

"I didn't even talk to Harry during poetry," I reassure her.

"It's all in the looks you gave him..."

Was she serious?

"Look. Harry and I didn't even make eye contact! You don't have to be mad because he's just not that into you, okay? You seem a bit creepy and stalker-like, if you ask me, Sydney, so drop it. Okay? Drop the whole 'Oh Aaryn's trying to steal Harry away' because ONE, Harry isn't yours to steal, and TWO, Harry and I don't like each other. Do you understand?!"

Sydney had a shocked look on her face.

She looked over at Harry on the other side of the room sitting across from a guy that had dark brown hair and he was tan. He looked like one of those popular kids. Ugh, I hate popular kids.

However, he did look band material. I did hear him sing last night. He was good. He introduced himself as Zayn Malik so I have no reason to believe that isn't his name. He looked over at me and smiled which made Sydney even more mad.

'I don't know why you thought you could come in here and act so freaking irresistible." I smiled at the thought of it. Irresistible? I didn't care about the boys here, I cared about being back home in Cali.
