Aaryn's POV

"Harry, I don't really know what happened.. that kiss... but I know that it wasn't supposed to happen, so can we just prete-" I started, but was cut off.

"It happened...." he paused, "It happened and just because Sydney didn't like it as much as I did or... hopefully as much as you did...." Harry's face turned red and he just stood there staring at me.

"I just can't do this... I can't keep fighting with Sydney.. I just can't." the dried tears on my face were replenished with fresh new ones.

Harry took me in his arms and hugged me tight until I eventually hugged him back, "I just want to go back to California...."

"You will... Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but you definitely will get to go back to the mainland. I promise." He said reassuringly.

"Really?!?!" Sydney caused me to jump back and hit my head against the wall.

"I have literally been gone for not even five minutes and you're all up on him again?!" I rubbed my head as Sydney's judgement penetrated through my skin.

"Maybe if you weren't so freaking obsessed with him then we wouldn't have this problem. You seriously cannot be happy for anyone else but yourself, can you? Oh my god you're so selfish!" I ranted and then pushed my way past Sydney and ran up the stairs to Kat's room.

*knock knock knock* "KAT OPEN UP." I yelled.

I heard some fidgeting and then the door opened, "What is it Aaryn?" she asked nervously.

I knew that look. There was a guy in here.

"I just need to borrow a shirt. this one got torn by Sydney." I started at the closet but she stood in front of it, "Uhhh I have some in that drawer you can borrow..."
"Kat open the closet." I said firmly.

"No, Aaryn." She said, her eyes pleading.

At this point I moved her to the side and opened the closet door. There he was. Zayn, the boy from homeroom... in his underwear.

"Kat what did I tell you about upper classmen?!" I yelled.

"I know but I couldn't help myself!" She begged.

I threw Zayn's shirt at him and stormed out of the room.

"Please don't tell Mom!" She yelled, but I kept walking.
