12. Callbacks

Harry's POV

Today was the day callbacks were supposed to be posted. I had to pick five girls and five guys including myself. I stared at the piece of paper with only two names on it.

Aaryn Scott

Harry Styles

My eyes were attracted to the paper. They enjoyed my two names together. Aaryn and Harry.

Why was I thinking about this? I was supposed to be focused. I needed other names.

I destroyed the image of Aaryn and I in my mind to write down four other guys names:

Zayn Malik

Liam Payne

Niall Horan

Louis Tomlinson

I looked at the list, content with the list of boys names. They were all talented and they seemed to have a sense of humor, which set them ahead of the other guys, since I'll have to spend every free moment with them.

Now on to the girls. So many girls applied for five spots, soon to be narrowed into one. I already knew who the girl was going to be, but I had no other choice but to put four other female applicants on the callback list. I already knew if Sydney wasn't one of them she would go after Aaryn about it, so I decided to play it safe.

Aaryn Scott

Sydney Star

Heather Smith

Tamatha Brown

Azia Thompson

After I completed the list I posted it on the school website and then printed a few copies for the bulletin board. Instantly Sydney burst through the door. Was she waiting outside of the door for me to post the list? I felt a little creeped out as she approached me and wrapped her arms around me and hugged me tightly. I could feel some of her preppy dust rub off of her skin onto my fleece.

"YOU NEED TO HELP ME CHOOSE A SONG!" Sydney yelled, staring at my lips.

"Uhhhhh...." I backed up, "I need to get to lunch..."

I left Sydney in the room alone and went to my dorm.

I heated up some of the fish sticks in the microwave as Louis came in. He looked happy that he got in. They guys didn't have to audition again, just the girls. I thought that was a stupid rule, but it makes sense, I think....
