Broken (Harry Styles FanFic)

Part of me wanted to walk up to her and wrap her in my arms because as much as I hated her for making me feel this way; I also hated watching her cry. But the other part of me, the part that was build up with rage and pain, just wanted to walk away from all of this and never turn back.
I wasn't sure what part I wanted to listen to, so I just took a deep breathe trying to control my anger and took a few steps towards her. I tried my best not to hold her in my arms and whispered, “sometimes broken things can't be fixed, Monica.

Chapter 11

“Can I take your order,” the waitress said to Harry. She didn't even acknowledge that I was sitting there in front of Harry.

“Uh I’d just like a cup of tea. How about you Nicky?” he asked me ignoring the fact that the waitress was completely flirting with him.

“I'd like some tea as well,” I said.

“I'll be right back with that,” the waitress said to Harry.

I rolled my eyes and Harry seemed to notice because he started to chuckle. I felt my cheeks start to get warmer and I pushed my hair back with my hand. I looked down at my hands trying to avoid his green eyes. I could feel him starring at me and I didn't want to look up at him. I wasn't even sure why I was here. I shouldn't have danced with him. I have no idea what I was thinking. That's the problem though. I am not sure I was thinking at all. It was as if I was hypnotized by him. The feel of his lips against my skin still lingered. I felt the goosebumps bumps rise on my skin as the memory of his lips against mine came back to mind.

“'Why aren't you looking at me?” He asked.

“What?” I asked without looking up at his eyes.

“Every time I lock eyes with you you always turn away or try to avoid any eye contact with me. Why do you do that?” He asked.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to tell him the real reason on why I can't look at him in the eye, but I couldn't just sit here and say nothing. How was I suppose to tell him that his eyes resemble my mother's? I was rambling through my head trying to figure out what to say.

“I make you nervous. Don't I?” He smirked.

“What?” That was somewhat true, but it was mostly the fact that his eyes reminded me way too much of my mother.

“Come on,” he said leaning in across the table. His face was close to mine now and I was afraid of what he was about to do next, “Every time I get this close to you I can see you grow very nervous.”

He kept leaning in closer and closer. I could feel his breathe against my skin. His tongue ran down across his bottom lip and I found myself biting down to my bottom lip remember the taste of his lips. The taste still lingered, but I wanted more.

“Here is your order,” the waitress said making Harry back off quickly and sit back down across from me. I hadn't even noticed that he had stood up and climbed over the table.

The waitress placed Harry's tea on the table right in front of him and smiled. She then turned to me and rolled her eyes. Her body jerked forward and she spilled the tea all over me.

“I am so sorry,” she immediately apologized.

“It's fine,” I said rolling my eyes.

She began to laugh and I looked at her with a shocked expression.

“This is funny to you,” I said. What the hell was her problem?

“Yeah it is,” she said.

I looked over at Harry and he was as shocked as I was. I stood up and threw the napkin that I was cleaning my dress with on top of the table.

“Look girl I am not sure what your problem is, but I will not sit here and be humiliated,” I yelled at the waitress.

I wasn't sure where all of this confidence was coming from, but I was liking it. I knew that the girl did it on purpose because she saw me there with Harry, but she had to know that I was not going to sit there and have her humiliate me in front of everyone.

“Is there a problem here,” a man came to us. I am guessing he was the manager.

“Uh your waitress spilled tea all over my friend,” Harry spoke, “and she laughed at her. I think that my friend and I are just going to go have our tea somewhere else.”

“I am sure that is not necessary, sir. We can have some more tea come on it's way,” the manager said.

“No it's fine. We are going now,” Harry said and stood up from the table.

I looked over at the waitress who had this disappointing look on her face. I could tell she was mad that Harry stood up for me and that she was going to get yelled at or maybe even fired, but I didn't care. I was actually enjoying the look on her face.

Harry took my hand and we walked out of the cafe. As soon as we were out of the cafe we both burst in fits of laughter.

“She so did that on purpose,” I said.

“Yeah she did, but I was trying so hard not to laugh at you. It was funny to see you sitting there covered in tea,” he said.

“It was not. She only did it because she likes you,” I laughed slapping his arm.

“Whatever it's not like I even noticed her.”

I rolled my eyes and we kept walking down the street. There was a couple clubs down the street and a couple of other cafes as well.

“Do you just want to go into another cafe,” he asked.

“No I like walking. It's a beautiful night,” I said.

“And cold,” he said, “why don't we just go back to my place?”

“Uh...I am not sure that is a good idea,” I said.

Even though he said that he just wanted to talk I knew that going back to his place would end up to no talking. I was hardly able to control myself back at the club when his body was pressed up against me. I wasn't sure if I would be able to control myself if I was alone with him. I hate to admit it, but there was something there that I was feeling for Harry and I wasn't sure what it was. I wasn't sure if it was just the sexual attraction or if it was more than that.

“Nico,” he said.

“Nico?” I rose an eyebrow.

“Well everyone calls you Nicky and I am not sure I like that so I am calling you Nico,” he said with a smirk.

I laughed and said, “Ok.”

I was sort of shocked that Harry and I were actually getting along. I wanted to point it out to him, but I was afraid that maybe he would stop being nice and just start being a jerk again.

“I am not going to rape you or anything,” he said, “I just want to get out of this freezing weather.”

I sighed then said, “Alright we can go to your place.”

After an awkward cab ride back to his apartment; I was sitting in his living room while he made some tea in the kitchen. I looked around the room and noticed it was really empty. There was nothing but a couch, a tv, a coffee table, and a few decorative pillows on the couch. There were no picture frames or any sign of anyone actually living in this apartment.

“You're apartment looks so lonely,” I said.

“Lonely?” He asked walking in to the living room with tea.

“Yeah you have no pictures or any sign of you permanently living here.”

He sat down on the couch across from me and took a sip of his tea. I took a sip of mine and noticed his eyes on me. I looked down at my tea trying to avoid eye contact with him. He was right he did make me nervous, but his eyes still terrified me. They were to similar to my mothers.

“Well that is because we are always on tour, so we don't see the point on putting pictures up,” he said.

“Louis and I. We live together,” he said.

I nodded then took another sip of my tea. I sat there awkwardly looking down at my tea. We didn't say anything to each other for awhile and I was starting to lose my mind. I wanted to know why he was being so nice. All I could think was that maybe he liked me....or not? I wasn't sure what I was suppose to make out of all of this.

Harry broke the silence by clinging his cup onto the coffee table. It startled me and I looked up at him. My eyes met his and I immediately looked away. I placed my cup on the coffee table as well and then looked down at my fingers.

Harry stood up from the couch across from me yelling, “Fuck this!”

I looked at him confused.

“What?” I asked, but before I could say anything else Harry was hovered over me close enough for me to feel his breathe against my skin. He slammed his lips against mine a bit to forceful and I whimpered under his kiss. His lips moved against mine and I began to kiss him back. The kiss began to grow intense and I felt his hands traveling down my sides.

He positioned me so that I was lying on the couch and he was on top of me. We never broke the kiss. His hand traveled down my body making me gasp. His touch has cold and I felt my skin scorch with pleasure when ever I felt his touch against my skin. I wanted him to keep his body close to mine. I wanted to go further with him. I wasn't sure where this would take us, but I knew that my body wanted him. That I wanted him.

I felt his hand move up my thigh and under my dress. I was close to telling him to stop, but the taste of his lips was so overpowering that I didn't want to move from under him. I felt my hips jerk forward craving more of him and the feel of his erection was clear against my leg.

He broke the kiss moving his lips across my jaw and onto my neck. I was suddenly aware of what was going on.

“Wait,” I whispered not sure if I wanted him to stop or not.

He didn't stop. The kisses continued across my neck and his hand kept traveling further down my dress.

“Stop,” I finally managed to speak louder. I pushed him off of me and he sat down near my legs.

“What's wrong,” he asked.

I wasn't sure what to say. Nothing was wrong really. I wanted him, but I wasn't sure if I wanted more that what he wanted.

“I..what are we doing, Harry?” I asked.

“What do you mean?” he asked.

“I mean I thought I was clear that I didn't want to be your one night stand. You said that you jyst wanted to talk and here we are about to have sex,” I said.

He stood up from the couch and began to pace back and forth. He was rambling and talking to himself. I wasn't sure what to make of it. It was as if he was trying to talk himself out of something.

“Harry,” I called.

“I think you should leave,” he said.

I stood up from the couch and adjust my dress, “What?”

“You should go,” he said again.

“You're kicking me out because I won't sleep with you?” I asked.

Was he serious?

He threw his hands up in the air and yelled, “LEAVE!”

His eyes were full of pain and no longer resembled my mother's. They were dark and I was suddenly afraid. I took a step back then quickly made my way out of his apartment.
