A Magical Year (Magical trilogy book #2)

*Complete* 1976 ... Last year, Alex and Kyle visited Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with their school. They're best friends, and more like a brother and sister. Hogwarts was not the kind of school they expected to ever visit, since it taught REAL magic. And they never expected to meet such people there, people who they'd love.
Because of this love, Alex got the ability to make some simple spells; a talent that it so rare that it's nearly impossible. Now what'll happen when Alex turns from a muggle to a part-witch? And what will the Ministry of Magic decide to do about her?

115. Last Day at Hogwarts

~Author's Note~

OH MY GOD GUYS!!! THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER!! (last one before the epilogue)

I can't believe this, I've been literally writing this for about two years now.

I really hope you liked the second book as much as you liked the first book

and I really hope you like the ending.

And remember, don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. =)

Thanks a lot for everyone who's been there with me from the beginning.

Seriously, you guys are THE BEST. You gave me support and everything,

you are the reason I love writing so much. (There's still more that I wish to

tell you but I'll save that for later)

Oh, one more thing, you guys.. listen to this song while reading this chapter,

like, keep on repeating it over and over until you finish reading it. I was listening

to it while writing this chapter and well.. I thought it was really suitable.

It's called End of an Era by Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls

Waking up knowing it's last day of school was the most horrible feeling I ever had. Sure, some people feel good that school's ending, Max is one of those people. For some other people though, Hogwarts is home, and they hate it when school ends, it means they'll have to leave their home before returning back to it.

For me, there will be no return to Hogwarts, especially that I decided I don't want to work as a professor. This is my last day at Hogwarts. Last day I'll walk on these grounds, in these halls. Last time I'll sleep in these beds, in these dorms. Last time I'll have a common room. Everything I had will become memories now, memories to remember.

All the friendships I made here, all the love I found here, all the adventures I had. The competitions I competed in; the twirizard tournament, all the Quidditch matches. The bets I made, the things I learned; potions, spells, flying, appariting, skills, tricks and even personal traits that I learned about. The clubs I joined, the Slug Club, the Muggles Studies Class I taught. The advice I was given. The laughs I had, the tears I shed. The mischief of the Marauders.  Every small thing that happened here.

I was reborn here, I was brought back to life. I got older and stronger, smarter and braver. Hogwarts's changed me a lot. I will always be thankful for it.

None of this would have happened without Sirius. Without his love for me, after all, I'm half a witch because of him. I owe him my life, I owe him everything.

I had my suitcase packed, my teddy bear in my hand and my wand on the table beside me. I was about to change when I found Max hugging me.

"you're awake! That's a miracle!" She laughed, but she was crying too.

"I couldn't sleep long, it's our last day together."

"Max, we'll always keep in touch. You'll come to the USA, you hear me?" Right then, Clara and Lara both jumped from their beds and ran to me. They actually jumped at me, causing me to fall to the ground. We all laughed. I started crying then. "Thank you guys, for giving me the best year ever. You truly are the best friends I can ever ask for. Max, you've been there for me since the very beginning, Clara, you too. Lara, we only got closer this year, but you can't imagine how happy I am that we did. You guys are the best, honestly."

"We'll never forget you Ally, you'll be with us next year, in our hearts, we'll spend the year together." Clara said. I hugged her tightly.

Before breakfast, The Marauders took me all around the castle, so that I'll say goodbye to the castle with every step I took. I really appreciated this, it was really cool. They even took me to the secret places, the ones only they know about, the secret passageways and all.

After that, Sirius took me on a ride on his broomstick around the castle. I can fly now, but this is kind of a tradition to us.

All the professors were there at Breakfast time, we'll only breakfast and then we'll leave. I didn't eat much. I spent my time saying goodbye to everyone I knew here, including the professors who've really helped me a lot, like professor Flitwick. I went to professor Dumbledore lastly.

"Professor Dumbledore, I really want to thank you for everything you did to me this year. You've been incredibly kind to me, you've really helped me with a lot."

"The only person you should thank is yourself, you brought yourself here. Your strong determination brought you here. Any other Muggle would've broken down by now, but you're a strong girl, I've always told you." He said.

"Thanks again professor." I said smiling.

The train ride was as good as ever and as crowded as ever. Everyone had some plans for summer, I hadn't any plans but I know I soon will have some. We actually had lots of fun in the train, we played some games and ate Berty Bott's Every Flavor Bean. When the train stopped, the crying started again. I hugged the girls, including Lily and said goodbye to them. I promised to write to them at least twice a week, then I hugged the Marauders next. I told them to write to me too, and to invite me whenever they wanted to make some plans with Kyle.

Lastly, there was Sirius. I hugged him and kissed him like I'll never see him again, for I knew how much I'll miss him.

"Thank you for the magical year you gave me." I told him.

"It wasn't just me. It way our love." He said, kissing me again.

"I'll always love you Sirius Black. Write to me, everyday."

"Of course I will. You'll always be in my heart, Alex Cross." I started crying again.

"Promise me you'll visit."

"I promise. But you should also promise me you'll come back to the magical world." He said, holding my face in his hands. I smiled.

"Only if the Ministry allows me to." We both laughed. He nodded, wiping my tear with his finger. "Oh and Sirius, if you discovered anything new about Regulus, tell me about it." He nodded. "Goodbye, Sirius."

"Goodbye Ally."

My heart ached for the separation, but I had a smile on my face, for every good memory I had with these people. I will never find better people on Earth. I will never have a more magical year than this.

In the airport, I found my mom, Ben, Kyle and Jasmine. They were all waving to me and I ran to them. And when mom asked me how my year was, I replied with;

"It was such a magical year!"
