A Magical Year (Magical trilogy book #2)

*Complete* 1976 ... Last year, Alex and Kyle visited Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with their school. They're best friends, and more like a brother and sister. Hogwarts was not the kind of school they expected to ever visit, since it taught REAL magic. And they never expected to meet such people there, people who they'd love.
Because of this love, Alex got the ability to make some simple spells; a talent that it so rare that it's nearly impossible. Now what'll happen when Alex turns from a muggle to a part-witch? And what will the Ministry of Magic decide to do about her?

6. Don't Leave

"May I?" He said asking for my hand. I giggled and nodded.

"I should've worn something more fancy." I said as I stood up. The music was really beautiful.

"You're kidding right? You look amazing." I gave Sirius my right hand and then he put his hand on my waist and I put mine on the back of his neck. I felt myself blushing when his hand reached my waist, and he laughed.

"You think we should try the dance we learned last year for the ball?" I asked laughing.

"I don't know if I can still remember it!"

"Oh come on! I think it went like; one two three up or something." So Sirius and I tried to remember the dance professor McGonagall taught us. It went on really clumsily at first and was a bit silly but really funny. We had so much fun. We danced a lot after it, and I hated the part when we had to leave the party. Saying goodbye to Sirius was really bad. I didn't want to leave him. I wanted him to stay here with me, forever.

"Come on Alex, we have to go now." Mum told me.

"But mum-" I said. I couldn't argue. "Sirius, do - do you want to go back to London today?"

"That was my plan, yeah." Sirius said. "But I don't want to go and leave you."

"Neither do I!" I turned to mum and whispered in her ear, "Mum, can Sirius stay at our home - j-just till Sunday! Please mum, please please please!!" I was technically begging, but I didn't care.

"Alex! you know it's not a good idea!"

"Mum please, what harm will it do you?" Mum stayed silent for a while. I gave her a look of complete innocence and hope.

"Where will he sleep?" Asked mum, whisper-shouting.

"In my bedroom?" I said not certain. No, that was too much to ask. Because mum, unlike me, couldn't raise one eyebrow, she raised both of her eyebrows, giving me a killing look. "Ok, okay, he'll sleep in the guests' room or something." Mum fell silent again, she was clearly thinking. Finally she exhaled, a bit too loud.

"Fine. He's a good boy anyway." She said smiling.

"Oh thank you so much mum. I love you, I love you so much!!" I said hugging her. I turned to Sirius who had his hands in his pockets and was not looking at me.

Sirius's P.O.V

"Sirius! Would you like to stay at my place? Y-you'll leave on Sunday and-"

"Ally, are you kidding?" I asked surprised.

"It-it's okay if you don't want to." She said looking disappointed.

"I mean, it's okay with you and your mother?"

"Yeah, it's totally fine!" She said, now getting all excited again.

"James will be waiting-"

"We'll send him an owl. Come on." She said. The look she gave me made me forget about everything. This was one of the things I really wanted to happen.

"Yeah, Okay!" I said.

"Yay!" She hugged me tightly and I hugged her back, smiling.
