Abusive

He walked past me and my friends gasped as he stopped and winked. He continued walking. I have no idea who he is, but I have to admit he is really hot. His curly brown hair, emerald green eyes, those dimples. Wow. I watched as he disappeared into the dark alley. My friends looked at me with open jaws.
"Close them, before you let a fly in," I joked. They looked at me. "What?"
"Don't you know who that is?!" Emmie yelled.
"No,"
"That's Harry. Harry Styles,"
"So?"
"I heard he treats girls like toys and if you don't do what he says, he'll beat you," Emmie told me.
"He's abusive," Lauren told me.
"I bet that isn't true,"
"Al, you better be careful," Lauren said.

Lauren's POV

My knees buckled as I ran. I hastily glanced around myself, taking in my surroundings as I rushed away from Allyson's. I could not go near him, I couldn't bear to look at him. He was deemed as trouble. If you didn't know him, you would soon hear his name exchanged in whispers throughout the corridors. He was dangerous, participating in many fights and treating women like toys.

I ran until I bumped into a hard object. I stumbled back, glaring up at the person. I gulped, coming face-to-face with Niall Horan, one of Harry's close friends. He smiled warmly at me.

“Sorry love,” He slurred in his Irish accent. I laughed nervously, fiddling with the hem of my shirt.

“It's okay, it was just an accident.” I bite my lip, my eyes locking with his. He nods his head, shoving his hands deep into his pockets.

“Yeah, people run into people all the time.” He spoke, making me wonder whether he was teasing me or not.

“Eh, I don't make a habit out of it.” My eyes sparkle as he laughs, throwing his head back.

“You should. I’d let you run into me any day.” He smirks.

“Okay.” I shrug. “Only if it's less painful.”

“I like you.” He announces, grabbing his phone out of his back pocket and putting it in front of my face. “Put your number in, I'll call you later.”

I clutched the phone, creating a new contact and typing my number in slowly. I smiled politely, handing it back over to him. I observed as he bit his lip, scanning the screen then quickly shoving it back into his pocket.

“I guess I’ll see you later.” I sigh, turning around and beginning to walk away.

“Definitely! See you tonight, babe.” He called, laughing slightly then shuffling off.

“Great.” I mutter to myself. “Just exactly what I didn't want.”
