7. Chapter 7

"M-Marcel?" I asked, turning my head and my eyes bulging from my eyes. "Your a pizza delivery man?"

"Yes," He said, his lisp making him oddly attractive, I have no idea why I just thought that. How is a lisp attractive?

"Oh, cool. Here's the money," I said and grabbed the pizza and handed him the money.

"Can't wait for tomorrow, Kayla." He smiled.

"Yeah, me to. I haven't been to a carnival in awhile." I said.

"Well, I'm gonna head out now. I've got more deliveries," He said and waved and walked away.

"Okay! seeya Marcel," I smiled and closed the door.

Night Of The Carnival

UGGS, black tights, a sweater, scarf, and a messy bun, that's my outfit.

Nothing special, but I atleast wanted to look decent for Marcel.

"Hey!" Marcel said and hugged me, well, nothing nice about a hug from Marcel Styles.

A lot of people think he's the nerd

"Kayla, you look beautiful." Marcel said to me, sending his signature dimply, but cute smile to me.

"Thank you," I smiled and walked out to the car.

Marcel got in the passenger seat and buckled up.

"You excited?" I asked and buckled.

"Yeah, nervous," He said and looked down.

"Don't be nervous Marcel. It's so much fun. I won't bring you on the crazy rides," I promised and smiled at him.

"Thanks Kayla. You're the best,"

I stuck the key in the keyhole and set the gear.

The radio softly played in the backround, and the windows were rolled down.

"I'm getting contacts soon, It's gonna be different, but appearently I'll be able to see better," He said, breaking the slightly awkward tension between us.

"That's really cool. I've never had any contacts before, so I can't tell you much about 'em." I said and smiled.

"Oh, well, I don't know what it'll be like. It's fine anyway." He said.

I just sat there silent with no words coming to mind that I should say.

Minutes later, we pulled up to a busy Carnival, filled with people with smiles plastered to there faces, the joy in there smile as they walked around laughing with there family, or friends, or even young couples that looked so free.

I wanted that, so much. A relationship, where I could go to the most adorable places with my boyfriend, enjoying every moment we have together, smiling, and laughing, but I guess I have to be patient and wait, for the right guy that is.

"Well, heres your first look at the Carnival." I smiled and got out, his face was already smiling like crazy, he's so adorable.

"It's amazing so far," He laughed.

"You know what, for a 'nerd', your a really entertaining guy. I love that about you." I said, it coming out more serious than I thought it would.

"Oh, well thanks. That's cause people say stuff about me that's not true, it bugs the hell out of me, but you get used to it when your at that school for awhile. It comes along with high school." He sighed, but looked up at the sky but smiled, something came to his mind.

"How do you make yourself so happy, and enjoyable even when people are hating on you?" I asked and paid for our passes.

"I think of the good things in life. Knowing that this is what comes in life, and I have to accept the things I can't change." He said, looked at me, and smiled.

"That's really good," I said. "Where to first?" I said and started smiling as we went through the gates, the whole block was filled with rides, stands with food, seuvenirs, drinks, candy, alot of things. The lights were glowing through the trees, and it was just beautiful.

"Over there!" He said and pointed to the farris wheel.

"Okay!" I smiled and we both ran over there.

I really enjoyed the time with Marcel.

We finally reached our spot and we hopped on. Marcel went in first, and I followed but the girl pulled me aside.

"You've got yourself a lucky guy,"

"Oh, we're not da-"

"I understand you don't want it public." She said in a rude tone, what a -

"Kayla?" Marcel said, interupting my thoughts.

"Sorry, coming." I said and hopped on.

It slowly started moving and I looked up in the sky and stared at the stars, that shined brightly reflecting on to Marcels glasses.

I don't know why, but I felt a strange connection between us.

"Beautiful," He said looking up.

"I know right."

"I'm glad we're friends. Your a great girl."

"Me to. Thank you, Marcel." I smiled.

He smiled shyly, and his dimples formed as his lips streched across his face, He honestly had a great smile.

"Alright, Alright, your time is up." The lady said, I sighed and we got off.

"What's next?" Marcel said. "Your choice."

"Hmm, lets go to the arcade games!" I shouted and we walked over to the arcade.

Hours, and hours, and hours passed by, all because of a shooting game we wouldn't stop until we won.

Sadly, we didn't win, and they kicked us out.

We we're walking towards my car laughing our butts off and wobbling as we got in, because our feet were so sore.

"Thanks for tonight," He said.

"Anytime."
