Stalked

Have you ever felt like you're being watched? Have you ever felt like somebody is behind you when you walk? When you're alone? When the lights are off? We all do, at some point. Unfortunately for some of us...this isn't just our imagination.

14. Sofias House

The door of the blue Toyota Camry opened quickly as Nick jumped out. He couldn't take it anymore. He had to know what was going on. He ran the rest of the block, all the while Sofia was just whimpering saying please no. Please...Please Don't. When Nick reached the street the house was in, all he had to do was walk 2 more houses to the right, and he would be there. When Nick passed the first house, Sofia was quiet for a moment. After he passed the second house, she was screaming so loud. She was shouting at the top of her lungs. Nick didn't know what was going on. Her voice started to die away to what sounded like...gurgling of some sort. When he reached the house, he could hear her faint cries for Nick. He burst the door open the see what was going on. When he did, he saw something that scarred him for life. He saw Sofia laying on the floor, stomach ripped open, insides out, with her mouth wide open. She turned to Nick and she mouthed 3 words. I love you. For a moment, Nick felt complete and utter devastation in sorrow and sadness. Then the next second, with complete rage as he saw the person who had murdered his future fiancee. It was his stalker.

His raspy breath was quiet, and unsteady. He walked low, and only in the shadows. He hoped the neighbors wouldn't see him go to the power box and mess with the lights. When he opened it, he tugged on them a bit so that the lights would flicker. This way, his target would be confused, and distracted. Ethan crept to the window and peeked inside the home. He saw Sofia looking up, confused. Excellent. Then he saw her starting to go out. Not good. Ethan was on the side of the house, next to the fuse box. On his left was the front yard. On his right was a small backyard with an easy getaway alley. Seemed simple enough. He quickly made his way to the backyard and saw that they also had a back door. This was going to be easy.

When he heard Sofia's feet land on the soft grass, he quietly opened the back door, sneaked inside, and locked the back door. He went next to the front door and stood behind it so that when the door would open, he would be hidden behind it. All he had to do now was wait. Eventually, the door opened and a beautiful young lady walked inside, turned around and shut the door. When she did, she saw a man with burnt skin, a broken knee, and a thirst for blood. She screamed at the sight and before Ethan could strike, she quickly kicked Ethan in a specific area. Ethan bent over in pain and looked at the floor. When he looked back up, he saw that the woman was gone. He promised himself that this one was going to be painful.

He looked around and started looking in small spaces where a human could fit. He searched all of the first floor and found nothing. He concluded that she was probably upstairs, since he had locked the back door, and locked it remained. Ethan looked up the stairs in which he was about to ascend and smirked.

Francis entered the empty home. They had just got a call from someone in this house reporting an intruder. He stepped quietly, and cautiously. It was quiet, but he heard something moving upstairs. He started going up quietly. He tried not to make any noise, for the intruder may have a gun. When he was about halfway up the stairs, he felt a sharp pain in his calf. He screamed in pain and turned around. The pain never left. When he turned around he saw nothing but a kitchen knife that had been stabbed into his right calf. He tumbled down the stairs and did some gruesome damage with the knife still wedged deep into his calf. The pain was incredible. He had not stop screaming. Ethan pulled the knife out slowly and left him there to suffer. He started going upstairs once more.

Francis laid in agony as he bled from his leg. Frantically, he reached at the small radio on his belt. He pressed the button to contact headquarters and requested immediate backup as clearly and softly as he could. He didn't want that thing to hear him. When they said they were sending someone else, it was too late. The last sound they heard Francis make was a loud ear piercing shout as his insides became his outsides. Ethan smiled, as he always did when he did this. He's done this to all his victims. After all, it was his favorite part.
