Snare and delusion *complete*

Everything seemed so real. Their smiles seemed so sincere. What if it was just a cover? What if everything was just a snare and a delusion?

10. The interview

Louis had barely slept during that night. He wanted to know who was spying them but he didn't know how. After reading the message he had received, he thought about what was going to happen the next day. And then, he wondered what will happen next. He spent the night imagining different scenario before finally falling asleep. But he was woken up a few minutes later by his phone.
Harry had sent a text to all of them about the interview.

If you have read all the tweets then, you saw that no one seems to believe what they saw on the pictures. It's better than we could have hoped for. We don't need to say the truth... And they don't have to know. We have to say it's a frame-up. We have to deny this "rumor".

Though Louis didn't think lying was the right solution, he answered to say he was agreeing. After all, apart from these pictures, they had nothing else to prove how things really were.
He ate quickly a breakfast and showered before making his way to Simon's office.

Thirty minutes later, he was standing next to Zayn and facing Simon. They all were silent. They had met in the corridor and had decided it will be better to walk in his office together.
Simon looked at his watch and stood up.
"Well, it will begin soon. Follow me." They did so in silence.
He led them to the lecture room, which already was crowded with journalists.
The room went quiet when they walked in. They sat and waited.
Simon explained why they were here today although everybody already knew.
Then, a journalist started to speak about how surprised the fans had been and about their reactions. He asked them if these rumors were true, if they really were behaving that way.
"As you said, there are rumours saying we hate each others. And we have to put an end to them," Harry began to speak. He smiled at the others before going on.
"Th..." But he couldn't begin his sentence. Louis had put an hand on his shoulder and squeezed it lightly, interrupting him. Harry tried not to wince because of the pain; Louis had squeezed him on his bruise.
"We have to put an end to them," Louis said again. The others smiled at him, feeling relieved beforehand.
"These rumors are true." And he left the room.
