Chapter 9

He released and pulled away. The kiss was breathtaking, and it seemed to make my stomach flutter and flop like there are butterflies in them. I held onto the nearest key board stand to stable myself.

This... This is so unbelievable. I never imagined myself kissing a guy, nonetheless, a hot guy. "Demitria, I'm sorry, I doubted you." He looked at me in the eyes, his eyes bore through mine, like he's staring straight at my soul.

His fingers traced the side of my jaw line as his eyes gave me the puppy look. "I forgive you already, kay?" I hooked my arms around his neck and pulled myself in for a hug. How could I say no to that puppy eyes...

"We should get going Demitria, the drama club needs these," he smiled and his hands touch the small of my back, giving me light shivers down my spine. His touch is unbearably, soft and nice.

I silently cussed in my head for that interruption. I just want to be with Jace forever, alone.

He grabbed the two big drums, and walked ahead, turning back to me, he asked, "Mind if you take that small keyboard over there?" He gave a slight smile.

Ugh, now I have to carry that heavy thing even though Drama club interrupted my sweet time... Jeez, I sound like a whiny bitch. I should stop. I heaved the keyboard to my waist and walked out behind him.

And that was how my happy period ended.

There was once a boy, who had beautiful dark and thick brown hair, he had high thick cheek bones, a beautiful face shape, and a pair of grey eyes that twinkled with curiousity and innocence.

He had a girl beside him, they were still young, about 12 or so, but they were holding hands, at first glance, they will look like siblings.

With their tiny hands enveloped and interlaced with each of their tiny fingers. The girl was small in size. She looked so tiny, and the boy was like her body guard. He had a tall frame, and fitting clothes.

The girl had a small frame, and drappy clothes. Her skirt reached to her knees, and her tiny little pink fluffy princess shirt hung on her shoulders.

She smiled with a smile so pretty that no one can imitate. The boy had a satisfied and proud look on his face.

They had a peculiar relationship.

But one day, everything fell apart.

And they moved on with their lives, without their hands held together.
