Warrior Cats: Nightstar's Beginning and End.

*You've heard about Warrior Cats by Erin Hunter, correct? This is my fan fiction, dedicated to my love for Warriors. Don't get mad at me for any warrior cat character I may use! That's why it's called a "FAN Fiction." (Fiction means not real to those who don't know) The character's I will use is Tigerstar, Scourge, and other rogues. And only read this if you know or have read the warrior cat series. Lastly, I may make up a few characters too.*

Nightstar had a hard kithood. Her mother being a total psycho path and her father dead. For a family of rogues, prey was hard, and so was life. Rogues come by the barn Nightkit and her mother stay in, to collect their payment (prey). And with them, a small black kit with only one white paw. Nightkit seems to take a liking to him... Until he disappears.

5. Chapter 5.

Night-storm blinked her eyes open and saw a group of cats leaning over her. She winced in pain as she tried to move. Snow-bird's expression was grim, as well as Cinder-fur. "Night-storm. Your wounds were far too great on your right paw. It couldn't be helped." Sage-whisker lowered his head in sadness. Night-storm glanced down as saw her right paw was limp and didn't move. Sadness swept over her.

"I can't be a warrior with a limp paw!" Night-storm wailed in sadness. Tiger-star pushed his way in and stared at her right leg in horror.

"Sage-whisker! Why didn't you help her right paw!?" Tiger-star growled, cornering the frightened medicine cat. "She can't be a great warrior like this! She won't be a leader! She'll be a paw-less medicine cat!" Night-storm's sadness became greater as her leader spoke. She stood up.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you..." Night-storm whispered then dashed away on three legs. Tears trickled from her eyes. She skidded to halt at a Thunder-path. She yowled at Star-clan then fell to the ground. She laid there limp for days on end, watching monsters roar by. An old two-leg walked up to her. He stroked her pelt and picked Night-storm up. She didn't try to run and claw to get away, she closed her eyes. The two-leg smiled and carried her to his house.

Night-storm woke up and breathed in the unfamiliar scent. She rolled to her side and realized she was laying in a moss bed that felt like a cat's pelt. An object rubbed against her neck, she padded to a shiny object and looked into it. She gleamed at her self. A black collar with sharp shiny teeth studded to it. Squeak. She glanced down at her right paw and stared in horror. Her limp paw was replaced with a metallic claw. Night-storm flexed her new, stronger, paw. She growled, due to not being able to retract her claws. Night-storm glanced around and saw an opening to the outside, she quickly launched herself through it. She landed on her paws in front of a kittypet. She scrambled backwards in fear.

"Please! Don't hurt me!" She wailed. Night-storm tilted her head.

"I'm not going to. I need your help. Please, my clan is in danger." Night-storm pleaded. The white she-cat stared at her in confusion, and glanced her at metal claw.

"What happened to you?" The white cat meowed at her. Night-storm looked away. "I'm sorry. I'll help you. The name is Cloud." Night-storm blinked.

"I'm Night-storm of Shadow-clan" Night-storm replied sternly. "Which way is the forest?" Cloud swayed her tail.

"Not far from here. Here, I'll lead you." Cloud got up and trotted through the two-leg's houses calmly. Night-storm followed and tried to stay calm. A dog barked and that made Night-storm race for her life. Cloud chuckled and caught up with the frightened warrior. "It's only a dog. They're all yap, but they never seem to attack us." Night-storm's eye twitched in dis-belief.

"Where I live, dogs chew on cat bones just to pick the flesh from their teeth!" Night-storm hissed. Cloud flinched and shook her head. "Are we almost there?" The white she-cat nodded.

"Just go a few paw-lengths past that big rock and you're home free. I hope to meet you again, Night-storm of Shadow-clan." Cloud mewed with laughter. Night-storm dipped her head in thanks and bolted away.  Her new claw didn't slow her down, but made her run faster then ever. She didn't stop as she raced through the trees of Shadow-clan's forest. Yowling and screeches rang through Night-storm's ears. She skidded and changed directions quickly, following the sounds of fighting. She stopped in horror as she saw all the clan's fighting among one another.

"Stop!" Night-storm's wail was heard around the clearing . All cats froze and stared at her. She stood tall, her pelt shined in the sun and her new claw dung into the soil.

"Night-storm?" Raven-wing gasped. She growled and stalked towards Tiger-star.

"There is no reason to fight!" Night-storm hissed. Tiger-star sneered.

"Your father is trying to take over the forest! River-clan has joined him and become Tiger-clan! Thunder-clan and Wind-clan have become Lion-clan. Night-storm, who will you choose? The traitors or the warriors of Star-clan?!" Raven-wing cried. Night-storm froze in shock. A traitor..Or warrior... Night-storm stared blankly at Raven-wing and slowly joined him.

"Night-storm! Come back over here! We can be rulers together, Great Warriors of the Forest! We shall be remembered!" Tiger-star hissed. Night-storm turned to him with hatred in her eyes.

"I'll be a paw-less medicine cat. That's what you said. I won't be by your side anymore, Tiger-star. I'm not a coward or traitor!" She yowled and the fighting began once more. A brute of a cat, bowled Night-storm over. She came face to face with sneering Skull. Night-storm battered his stomach with her hind legs and rolled to the side.

"Not a traitor? Look! Your collar is studded with hard, shiny fangs! You're one of us!" Skull laughed crazily. Night-storm yelled as she launched herself at him. Her claws came crashing down on Skull with every memory of Tiger-star. Hatred and anger flowed through her blood. She raised her metal claws and smashed it into his skull. It was finished. Blood trickled from her claws. Scourge stared at her in terror.

"Night-storm? You... You killed Skull!" Scourge wailed. Night-storm hissed and lashed her tail at him. He stepped back. "Fine. I guess we could never be a pair." Scourge raced towards Tiger-star. A yowl then thump, was heard. Tiger-star's breathless body laid in front of Night-storm.

"No!" Night-storm cried as she dashed to Tiger-star's side. She placed her head into his shoulder as fighting cats danced around her. Fire-heart's yell was heard and made Night-storm jolt her head up. Scourge stood over him, blood dripped from his jaws and claws. "You murderer! No, you monster!" Night-storm bolted towards him. He clawed her blind side and flipped her over. She coughed and stood back up.

"Don't get back up, Night-storm!" Scourge pleaded mixed with anger and sadness. She lashed her metal claw at him. "Night-storm, please!" The red warrior's sadness finally got to her. She fell to the ground crying and screaming Tiger-star's name. Blood dripped next to her then Scourge's lifeless body fell. Fire-heart stood towering over them both. Raven-wing sat next to Night-storm's side.

"Get up... Please..." Raven-wing nudged her side.
