Arcum felt a little dizzy after the kill as he fell to his knees by the body and thought about the last few words he said to Shiv.

Arcum felt like he was in a trance and scared while his head spun around the fact that he just made his final kill since he didn't like the way the family loves to kill in the first place but now it is over for Arcum.

He can hear Winter look for him and Greave in the hallway as he stayed in a stature. Winter finally caught up with them.

"Arcum are you ok?" Winter asked while she got down to his level and placed a calming hand on his shoulder. They glanced at each other for a moment thinking they are finally able to become whatever they want and to leave this behind but Arcum was still shaken up about what just happened.

"G, go help your sister." Arcum struggled to get out as Winter obeyed silently. Arcum could hear the silent cut of Winter cutting Greave's bounds and helping her move to a standing position while Greave got her cane from out of her pocket and unfolded it while the clicking noise reminded him of the grinding noise of both Shiv's with his own dagger meeting each other.

Arcum felt a flood of tears circle his eyes but he knew this time they were not tears of strength because they were tears of sadness.

"Arcum?" Greave was now at his side. She looked tattered and beaten up in the face where buses showed and her skin was lightly cut.

"What will become of us?" he whispered softly since his voice was stollen by the tears.

“What do you mean Arcum?” Winter chimed while they walked through the hideout to the way out. Arcum could still see the stairs that fallowed him as they passed.

“We are free to leave without being hunted, without being called to the creed. So how are we supposed to live our lives now?” Arcum asked and Winter’s eyes got wide like she had never thought of that before as her sister spoke.

“Be a part of society and be somewhat normal.” Greave stated looking off into the distance. Arcum stopped immediately as they got to the door to the outside world. All he could think about is that this will be the last time he will be seeing his home for the last time but he wasn’t too sad about it just that he knew he would have to live in secrete and he didn’t want to continue that life anymore since that was the way he wasted his life so far.

“I have too much blood on my hands. I don’t want a life of hiding anymore.” Arcum sighed knowing that was the truth because of the years of being an assassin the only way he could think of that will give him peace of mind when he dose settle into the real world was to turn him in and then come out either dead or with a somewhat clean slate when he gets out of prison.
