Louis shook his head trying to clear his guilty mind. He tried to think of anything non-Lucie related but the only thing that came to his mind was the memory of when he and Lucie had met for the first time nearly 2 years ago.

It had just been an ordinary summers day when Harry finally plucked up enough trust and courage to be able to finally introduce his twin sister to his four new best friends. But little did he know the events of that day would seal his best friend and twin sister's fates for the rest of their lives.

"...and under no circumstances will ANY of you, and I mean ANY, even think about going out with her. She's completely off limits!" Harry said looking between each of the boys separately until finally stopping on Louis.

"Why are you looking at me?!" Louis exclaimed at his best friend.

"Just no messing with her!" Harry urged all of them knowing exactly why.

Harry and Louis had already become the closest friends in the band but in all honesty Louis knew if Harry's twin sister was half the person Harry had described her to be, Louis would have a hard time resisting.

Louis was about to come out with an angry reply when they all heard the door opening and closing quietly.

"Hazza I'm home!" the boys all heard a gentle voice call loudly from the hall.

They sat anxiously and listened to the gentle footsteps on the wooden floor as Harry's twin sister drew nearer.

"Hey Haz-" the young girl's voice began as she entered the room and swiftly quietened as she spotted the rest of the boys.

"Hey Luce, I want you to meet the guys." Harry said gesturing to each of them.

The boys all took in the young girl. Her brown curly ringletted hair came just above her waist with some blue stripes spread through it and her eyes were rimmed by purple 3D glasses without the lens. They could all see the clear similarities between the twins. Louis looked down at her thin strap flowered dress and down to the art book in her hand.

"Guys what did I just say?" Harry practically growled at the boys as they all checked her out.

Lucie started giggling lightly to herself, which a slight red tinge to her cheeks, making everyone join in.

Liam rolled his eyes at Harry, and stood up holding out his hand to the young girl.

"Hi, I'm Liam." he said smiling.

Lucie stared at his hand for a moment before blatantly ignoring it and pulling him into a hug. Liam stood shocked for a little while until Lucie stepped back blushing slightly.

"Sorry, I'm a hugger. I'm Lucie by the way... but everyone calls me Luce." She said smiling warmly at him.

"It's ok. It's nice to meet you Luce." Liam said laughing.

"Hey! Stop hogging her! I want a go!" Niall's cute Irish accent called out.

Liam stepped back and Niall quickly pulled Lucie into another tight hug.

"Hi I'm Niall!" He said still holding onto her.

When he stepped back, Lucie moved over to Zayn and they smiled at each other.

"Hi I'm Lucie." She said quietly.

"I'm Zayn." He said opening his arms as an offering which Lucie quickly accepted.

When she stepped back, Lucie began to look at Zayn in awe.

"What?" He said nervously.

"Sorry it's just, I love your hair!" Lucie gushed.

An electric smile lit up on Zayn's face and all the boys moaned. He could go on for ages about his hair. He wasn't called Vain Zayn for nothing.

"Thanks, your not to bad yourself." Zayn said winking playfully at her.

Lucie giggled and the pair quickly began talking about god knows what.

"Ok, you two...flirt later! Everyone seems to have forgotten me!" Louis called out to the pair.

"Oh and you could never let that happen." Liam said rolling his eyes.

"Carrot boy!" Lucie practically growled as she turned around.

Before he even had a chance to react to her strange first words to him, Lucie made a battle cry and charged straight towards him. She suddenly crashed on top of him and ended up lying on top of him, straddling his hips. She began hitting his chest in anger as all the boys watched and stared some in hysterics (Harry, Niall and Zayn) and others in confusion (Just Liam).

"What did I do?" Louis called out.

"You stole my carrots the last time you were here, Hazza told me." She pouted.

"Ok! Ok! Sorry! Sorry!" Louis called out as she continued whacking his chest.

Lucie looked down at Louis in triumph as he begged her to stop. She smiled widely and leaned down and hugged him tightly.

Louis laughed as he returned the embrace.

When they parted, Lucie stayed sat on top of him still smiling playfully.

"So what's your name then carrot boy?" She asked smirking.

Screw the bro code, Louis thought to himself as he returned Lucie's playful smirk, there were some cases there was no helping himself. He could tell she wasn't one of those girls who loved themselves or couldn't have a laugh with him. He liked girls who he could have a laugh with about anything. Who he knew he would feel honoured everyday to call his.

And this girl... was one of them.

"Tomlinson. Louis Tomlinson."

When Louis looked back at the memory, he realised that had been the day he had truly fallen in love with his best friends little sister...

Louis lifted his head from his hands. He loved Lucie. There was no point in denying something that was true. It amazed him to think that the whole reason they had gotten into this mess was because he was tempted by another, and now... the thought of being with anyone other than the girl at his house repulsed him.

He was her's whether she wanted him or not. And his heart would always belong to her, even if she doesn't feel the same.

What the hell am I doing here? Louis thought to himself.

He had the girl of his dreams, who had just told him she was going to be having his child in a few months, and he had walked out just like that? What is wrong with him?! He had been so angry she had chosen to spend her life with and yet when she handed the chance he had dreamed for, he had walked away?

He may not ever be able to make her completely forgive what he had done, but he was sure going to do his best for her and their child anyway. He would be there for every tear, every smile, every laugh. He would be there for his child's first steps, first words. He would be there for all parts of their life... if Lucie would take him.

He lifted himself from the seat and began his journey back to his small apartment, ready to face his future...
