3. Shock and Betrayal

Summer passes by quickly and Brad and I became the best of friend. But I guess all friendships never last. Soon it was time for school again and I was very excited. My first day at a Brooke High School. I walked in with Brad my side but he soon disappeared. I went to the office to get my new schedule and my locker number and combination. There I met Violet. Violet Blake. We quickly became friends and swapped numbers.

I found out that Brad had a locker next to me. I was beyond happy until he acted like a complete jerk and claimed he didn't know me. That actually hurt badly and had to hold back tears that threatened to spill. It turns put Brad was the captain of the football team. He was the guy all the girls wanted and all the guys wanted to be. As the day passed by I found I had 4 classes with Violet and 2 with Brad.

The day ends and I rushed home. I put my keys in the door and went the the fridge to grab a snack. My dad wasn't home as usual. Ever since we moved he got promoted and had to go on many business trips and work late hours. So I was alone. I did my homework and spent a remainder of the time watching tv.

That night I couldn't sleep due the fact of my other neighiebor having a party. I mean like who has a party on Mondays. Soon I couldn't take it any more. I went next door in my pajamas and knocked on the door. A guy who looked completely wasted opened the door.

"Excuse me can you please turn the music down. Some people are trying to sleep." I yelled. He simply laughed in my face and shut the door. EPIC FAIL. I went back to my house and attempted to sleep with no success. Then my phone went off alerting me that I got a text. I looked and saw it was Brad.

'can't sleep' I looked outside my window and saw Brad send me a little wave. I was beyond pissed. At school he acts like he doesn't know me, making me look like a complete fool and then he has the nerve to text me and act like we're still friends.

'What the hell is your problem. You act like a complete jerk to me at school and then you text me and act like we're still friends. Don't ever talk to me again' was my response. I closed my curtains and went back to bed.
